This exquisite and secluded property is located at the base of the Koʻolau mountains in Waimānalo. Surrounded by breath-taking views that will captivate and invigorate your spirit, this private property offers an experience that is one of a kind. With over 10 acres to explore, this regenerative farm is home to many fruit trees, indigenous plants, wild chickens, and other beautiful birds that you will likely spot while taking a stroll on our nature path. We have worked really hard to care for this ʻāina (land), and we are happy to share it with respectful travelers looking for a quiet, authentic, farm-stay experience. Camp Koʻolau provides bathrooms, a warm-water outdoor shower with an amazing view, and parking. Our farm is only a 5-minute drive to the beach, and 15 minutes from popular, Kailua town. As a working farm, we do have insects and geckos hanging around. So, it's not uncommon to encounter them. Also, we often have visits from wild pigs that come down from the mountain, so you may see them as well. Although we are certain you will love this place, please keep in mind, it takes a lot of hard work to maintain it. Thus, you will probably hear farm equipment and activities buzzing about (typically on the weekends). And, we want you to respect, love, and care for this place as much as we do by leaving it better than you found it.

Comfortable Stay!
I loved how luxury and comfortable everything was. The bed, the amenities provided, as well as the location! Wish I had the chance to stay longer to meet James, the horticulturalist, but I'll have to make another trip out there again!

Beautiful slice of paradise
The view in all directions was so scenic. It was clean, quiet, and peaceful, which is what we were looking for. Our stay was exactly as expected based on the description. Scooter was a great host and gave us an excellent recommendation for dinner. We would definitely stay again!

Absolutely gorgeous
This property is stunning! Lots of accommodations in the unit: AC, electric, phone reception, hot water, potable water, tea kettle, coffee, soap, shampoo, lotion, clean towels. Bed is comfy. The outdoor shower is amazing. Mornings were quiet and glorious- a much needed break from the hustle and bustle of the city

Farmstay Unit 1
This is one of the most stunning properties wehave ever stayed in. In my opinion, waimanalo is much prettier and more lush than the North shore. This is a 20 acre ranch with an amazing in house horticulturalist James whose knowledge completely amazed me. This property has views of mountain range on one side in the ocean on the other with a beautiful common area to hang out in to relax your mind. Very clean property with great amenities. Everyone we met were extremely friendly and pleasant. Highly recommend!

10/10 facilities!! Great host
Amazing pavilion which provided shelter from rain, shower had hot water!!! Bathrooms were very nice for out door camping. Scooter and Kevin were really responsive and kind.

Peaceful getaway
We had a great time at Scooter’s place. It was so peaceful and calm, view was amazing. Location was very convenient, close to local food trucks and stores but yet quiet and private. I highly recommend this place.
