This exquisite and secluded property is located at the base of the Koʻolau mountains in Waimānalo. Surrounded by breath-taking views that will captivate and invigorate your spirit, this private property offers an experience that is one of a kind. With over 10 acres to explore, this regenerative farm is home to many fruit trees, indigenous plants, wild chickens, and other beautiful birds that you will likely spot while taking a stroll on our nature path. We have worked really hard to care for this ʻāina (land), and we are happy to share it with respectful travelers looking for a quiet, authentic, farm-stay experience. Camp Koʻolau provides bathrooms, a warm-water outdoor shower with an amazing view, and parking. Our farm is only a 5-minute drive to the beach, and 15 minutes from popular, Kailua town. As a working farm, we do have insects and geckos hanging around. So, it's not uncommon to encounter them. Also, we often have visits from wild pigs that come down from the mountain, so you may see them as well. Although we are certain you will love this place, please keep in mind, it takes a lot of hard work to maintain it. Thus, you will probably hear farm equipment and activities buzzing about (typically on the weekends). And, we want you to respect, love, and care for this place as much as we do by leaving it better than you found it.

Million dollar views!
The views were amazing! You are not far from the airport and many of the local shops. It is very peaceful and the outdoor shower is not to be missed!

Liked it so much I extended my stay! Absolutely gorgeous spot, loved the views of the mountains and being able to walk around to see all the fruit trees. Hosts couldn’t be nicer, and the bathroom and shower were spacious and super clean. Also really appreciated the covered common area. Thank you for the fruit, hope I can come back sometime!!

What a sweet spot! Right on the edge of the mountains, Scooter's place was perfect for a night along with a naturescape soundtrack to accompany it. Kevin showed us around even though it was getting dark, and we really appreciated him touring us around his property and chatting with us! There is a large covered outdoor space with lights which is perfect to hang out in, even in a bit of rain. Mahalo for the great stay.

This place was awesome! We stayed at 5 hipcamps all over the island and it was easily our favorite. So calm and quiet and safe and secluded. It is truly a treasure of a place! We loved finding passion fruit on the ground, and hearing the birds and geckos at night. The shower and bathroom were very clean and nice. We also enjoyed spending time with James, the horticulturist. He showed us around the property and taught us about various herbs, and was very kind and funny. Thanks for making our Christmas so memorable!!! We'll be back bumbai.

Kevin was very welcolming and showed us around the day we arrived. He even lwt us have some fruit from his trees (the biggest and best avocados we'd ever eaten by far!) And James was super informative about all kinds of topics. All in all, a beautiful setting, quiet and safe and close to several beautiful beaches. The shower and bathroom were great and we had access to a mini fridge and a place to charge our phones. Would definitely return!
