What stood out to me was that Wendyâs place is one of a kind. It is legit. It is old Hawaii. I fell immediately at home in the common areas. The treehouse was pure magic. The road was rocky to get in but well worth it! Truly, a hidden treasure. Not many places in the world left like this one! We will be back.

During our visit to Rainbowâs End, we rented both the cabin and the treehouse, and once again, the experience was nothing short of amazing. My personal favorite is the open-air treehouseâit offers the perfect blend of sleeping in nature while still enjoying the comfort of a cozy bed.
The property is clearly designed with care, with thoughtful details and charming decor that make it feel truly special. This was my third stay in the treehouse, and it somehow gets better every time! Wendy is an incredible hostâwarm, welcoming, and always ensuring we have everything we need for a perfect stay.
We loved spending time in the open-air living room, playing cards, and fully embracing the off-grid lifestyle for the weekend. Despite the open layout, I always feel completely safe here, which makes the experience even more relaxing. If youâre looking for a unique, handmade retreat that lets you disconnect from the daily grind, this is the place to be. Wendy is a true proâkind, communicative, and always available if needed. This remains my favorite spot in the area, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking an unforgettable off-grid escape!

Our stay on Wendyâs land was nothing short of magicalâperfect for a weekend escape. This was my third time visiting, and I keep coming back every year when exploring the South Point area. The rustic yet charming cabin is a true gem, with a peaceful deck ideal for watching the sunrise. The fully stocked kitchen made cooking easy, and our group loved gathering in the open-air living room, soaking in the serene surroundings.
Wendy is an incredible hostâfriendly, responsive, and always ensuring we feel at home. This year, we were delighted to find several upgrades, including stylish new living room furniture and a stunning semi-outdoor bathroom addition, a major improvement that made our stay even better.
If youâre looking for a unique and immersive nature experience, this property is perfect. It offers a peaceful escape from everyday life while keeping you close to the areaâs top spotsâwe highly recommend hiking to Green Sands! Wendy and her son are truly the best, and we canât wait to return.

The cabin was super cute, clean and the covered deck provided a wonderful spot to relax in the rain. The kitchen had everything I could ever need and check in was easy. I hope to return!

Enjoyed the cabin and really enjoyed the kitchen lounge area, complete with cats. A very nice place to hangout after a day of exploring.
