The Honey Hut is a charming escape nestled in the heart of Maui's natural beauty. With its secluded setting, comfy accommodations, and thoughtful amenities, it's an ideal spot for those seeking a peaceful retreat. Guests rave about the outdoor shower and cozy interiors, while the proximity to Haiku and the Road to Hana makes it a convenient base for exploring. Some visitors noted the presence of insects, but overall, the sentiment is overwhelmingly positive.

The honeycomb hut is an enchanting experience! Tons of privacy, while you wake up in the middle of the forest. This place is heart because you’ve also got a kitchenette. And the outdoor hot shower and bath are beyond amazing!! Can’t wait to come back.

Such a special place & best nights sleep of our life. The location is ideal, a short drive into Paia and Makawow and a lovely walk into Haiku for morning coffee. I will never stop dreaming about the outdoor shower!

Quiet and cozy!
Cozy, well-equipped, cabin on a quiet street. Host was very kind and a great communicator before and during the trip. The site has two structures available to book. We were in the Coco cabin and did not see the yurt at all, or other occupants, if there were any. So, even though you are potentially sharing the property with other hipcampers, you'll have plenty of privacy. Having an air conditioning unit was also a great and unexpected bonus. Being away from the coast, we found it cooled down enough overnight to not need it, but we did enjoy using it for it's fan to camouflage the coqui chirps a bit. Wish we would have had a chance to do the honey tasting add-on, but we found ourselves out enjoy island dawn to dusk. Mahalo!

Very cute yurt in Haiku. We booked this property to have easy access to Road to Hana, and it WAS easy access. So close to the start! Yurt had everything we needed and was nice and clean. And the bed was SUPER comfortable. Some lizards outside around the shower area but we left them alone and they left us alone. They really like to hang out in the shower curtain so don’t be surprised and shriek like I did 😅. The shower got nice and hot and felt great after adventuring all day!! Would definitely recommend

Our favorite stay on Maui
We absolutely loved our experience at the Honey Hut! It was the perfect "glamping" set-up where you felt immersed in the outdoors, but still had comforts like a real bed and a hot shower. The town of Haiku is so pleasant and the farm was in an ideal location- very easy to find/get to, but with a feeling of being tucked away from usual touristy spots. Honey was a fantastic host- responsive and kind! We enjoyed the add-on experience of getting to see the Honey Dome and hear about the bees on the farm. This will definitely be a place we return to on our next visit to Maui!
