This rural and remote property is known as Hawaii Island Resort. The macadamia orchard provides a unique and comfortable way to camp in Hawaii. We have a great paved ocean view area for camper vans and many options for pitching tents or parking under the trees. We love to share our abundance with others and opening the property to travelers that love to camp seemed like a perfect addition to our current program. Please, outside pets are not allowed. We look forward to meeting you :)Goldilocks climate zone allows you to camp in our macadamia nut orchard. Gently rolling grassy areas with the macadamia trees for privacy. Panoramic ocean views in some areas of the property. The dark skies provide spectacular stargazing. Very near the southernmost point of the USA and Green Sand Beach. Indoor ½ bath, and outdoor showers with endless hot water make this a safe and comfortable place to pitch your tent. Amenities included are outdoor showers, 2 half bathrooms, access to our heated salt water pool with a water slide and a macadamia nut tree orchard with other fruit trees around. You are welcome to our nuts and the fruit that is ripe. We are sad to add an age restriction due to guests/campers flushing diapers. Children are still welcome five years and older. Thank you for understanding. h Message for more information, large groups inquire about special rates.

Hawaii Island's Best Campsite
We (husband and 16 year old daughter) loved our time camping at Kelly's. Kelly was a great host - friendly and super informative. It was peaceful and relaxing with the rural setting. A great setup for campers and lodgers alike. Amenities were clean and comfortable - you are free to also wander the orchard and to pick macadamia and fruit. We tried the macadamias and had the best mangoes we have ever tasted. The dogs are an added bonus - cute and friendly and protective of the land (keeping the wild pigs at bay).

Tent camping in Sarah's macadamia nut orchard was awesome! We were shown around the property, had many options for shower and a wifi area. Our site was in the orchard which was very peaceful. We loved our stay ❤️

Hawaii Island's Best Campsite
We loved our stay at Kelly’s campground. The place is beautiful and the campsites are nice and private. The showers have hot water which is also a plus. Location is easy to find and communication with Kelly was easy. She has a couple of dogs that came to say hello when we arrived but they are really friendly didn’t bothers us the rest of the stay. We will definitely stay here again on our future stays in Big Island

Hawaii Island's Best Campsite
I loved the huge macadamia garden and Kelly was really friendly, cumminicative and welcoming. We were allowed to pick as much fruits as we wanted, unfortunately we had just one night and no time for that.

Stop between Kona and Volcano
I enjoyed the tent camping location in the orchard, the outdoor facilities, and the location between Kona and Volcano. The dogs liked to hang out at night.

Hawaii Island's Best Campsite
We loved Kelly's land. We have been warmly welcomed. Kelly was waiting for us and explained us everything when we arrived. The place is wonderful with a lot of macadamian trees and mango trees and a lot of space. Kelly showed us how to collect and eat macadamian nuts. The dogs are very friendly and Kelly made sure we were not scared. We can use the pool which is very nice after a day of hike. There are 3 hot showers and a place where you can be protected from the rain and where you can use electricity for your phone. A wonderful and peaceful place to stay. Thank you very much!
