Open Field Campsite
Great place, clean bathrooms and showers. The private kayak launch was great.

The Tent site met our expectations, Clean Restroom and Shower, easy PRIVATE access to the Beautiful Ocmulgee River with some neat touristy things to visit close by!

Open Field Campsite
This was pretty nice site and experience. The site is well prepared. It is close to state parks for walks and bike rides.

Noisy but pretty unique!
Very unique and I interesting spot. If the extremely loud train went by a little less frequently we might have been able to sleep. But every 15 min throughout the night was a bit much. But the constant dam sounds give a nice white noise in between train whistles and screeching metal. However it's beautiful by the river and they have hot showers! Don't think we'll be back, but I'm writing this a bit sleep deprived.

Trains….
The site and people are nice, Except there are Loud Trains that run by all day and Night. So unless you love the feel and noise of trains, stay away.

Place in the Pines
Tranquil Haven, Minus the Train
This place is a gem. The entire camp sits on a large flowing river. There's cabins along the edge of the river, a large field for tents, and a small lot for RV's or vans. There's a long trail for hiking and they allow fishing. A warm building with toilets and showers is very near the camping areas. Whistle Stop cafe is walking distance and a great option for breakfast.
The train runs very frequently, roughly every 30 minutes at night. It's tough to get good sleep due to the train, but this place is still very worthwhile to visit.
