My property is surrounded by forest and is part of the foothills. It located close to Helen, Blairsville, and Dahlonega, GA. Welcome to the NE GA mountains! It’s a very quiet and peaceful little rural community. Plan on enjoying the wildlife and beautiful sunsets. You can see stars for miles in the evening. You will have a tent, a bed for two people, fire pit and small enclosure for your small furry friends. Electricity and water are available for your coffee pot, hot plate and drinking water. We have a bathroom in the basement of our home with a toilet and a sink with hot water that you are welcome to use. There is no shower. If the weather gets unexpectedly yucky you can sleep in the queen sized bed in our basement.This site has our personal tent with a two peron bed on our property. If you would rather bring your own tent let us know. The surface is rocky, so make sure your bed is raised off the ground. It has hot and cold water, and a toilet available. There is a plug for electricity on the site for your morning coffee or hot plate for cooking breakfast. There is a picnic table and a fire pit. We can provide a box fan if it gets too hot but have found it to be quite comfy, especially during the fall months. We live on the property and have our own pets. You are free to use the dog pen for yours if you choose to bring one small furry friend. Please do not leave your pet unattended in the tent. They must be with you at all times or in the dog pen.
