Atop Lookout Mountain, this 4 acre field oasis is the perfect respite amidst traveling, hiking, camping, and all other outdoor adventures. Situated just under a half mile from Lula Lake Land Trust, you can enjoy a 10-minute walk to the trailhead or less than a 2-minute drive. Other trails nearby are Cloudland Canyon (along with all the connecting trails), and the new Rivers to Clouds trails. This site provides shade, coverage, and lush grass. You will also be provided with stones for a fire pit. Lula Lake Respite

Great for bike-packing!

My buddies and I stayed here while bike-packing and it was great. We wanted to find a spot for a quicker overnighter out of Chattanooga and this was the perfect distance. It’s a pretty place to sleep, lots of stars, a fire pit that we used, and William gave us access to the outdoor spigot for water which was clutch. Will definitely camp here again!

William is a great host, making sure the experience is what you wanted. So close to Lula Lake, perfect location to easily get there and enjoy the day.

Lula Lake Respite

The site is pretty much next to the residential home especially if you want to be by the fire pit. It feels less like a campsite and more like a backyard- completely exposed. No pretty views

I would not qualify this a campgrou

Avoid !! It not a proper campground, host not reachable on call. I got address at last moment on reaching there whereby network was not there. It was dark no one to guide. Toilets not traceable, no basic camping tables, no trash bins nothing. It's just a backyard of a home. No views and won't feel like camping Only positive is near to all famous spots, but there are many other options available for that

10/10! The only inconvenience was there not being a private toilet like listed, but William was very accommodating with that and super helpful with everything else! I’d definitely camp here again :)

Exceptional value on Lookout Mounta

Very pleasant venue that is very close to all of the important Chattanooga sites. Exceptional value....peaceful glade....very close to hiking and natural beauty. I encourage you to try it out. The Climate and temps are very nice on Lookout Mountain.
