Just ten miles from Downtown Chattanooga, Little Buff is the spot to park your van or pitch your tent! We have beautiful mountain views and convenient access to I-24. The Tennessee River, historic attractions, outdoor adventures, and urban life are all nearby. Enjoy a private, roomy campsite with a fine gravel surface, fire pit, bench, and observation point. You will have plenty of space for your rig, vehicles, tents tables and chairs, canopy, or whatever clever camping system you employ. There's an outhouse, a potable water hydrant, and an electric power station on the property. Be sure to check out the extras. We have Firewood for sale: $10 for a big bundle of seasoned, split hardwood. Don't forget the kindling for a quick blaze! We can also supply a generator, all gassed up and ready to go. Please take a moment to read and observe the RULES. They are simple and important. We want to keep your visit fun and safe and affordable, as well as preserve the property for future guests. We are so glad you are coming to Little Bluff. Thank you for booking and enjoy your stay!Park your van, SUV, AWD wagon, truck, or camper and pitch a tent on this lovely wooded mountaintop campsite. Beautiful, but you need 4WD
Absolutely gorgeous and well done. The site is nearby the host, but it still feels private and was perfect for our rooftop tent setup. Really great fire ring and clean outhouse. I have a 2WD 4Runner I left about halfway in, but the 4WD Raptor had 0 issue, and helped pull me out one of the grades (it had rained recently). Seriously though, 4WD or really great AT tires are needed to get here. You will hear a train, but no traffic and I slept great. Will definitely come back as a local spot for a quick getaway.

Cool camp spot
Awesome little spot that is away from everything but close enough to the interstate to make it convenient. I will say the drive into the location is a bit tricky and yes 4wd makes it easier.

Spot on
Loved my stay. Perfect for my overlanding rig. Good Verizon cell signal in case anyone wants to know. Definitely need a 4x4 to access the site which made it fun.

Qualified Recommendation
First the good: the site is clean, outhouse is clean (a bonus for offgrid site), and view although limited by summer foliage was nice. Be certain your rig and offroad skills are up to the task. This would limit my recommendation to only those that want a challenge in pulling a camper/trailer to a site, willing to devote time to any unexpected difficulty, and equipped to remain offgrid with limited sunlight in dense summer shade (bring a generator).

Great site! 4x4 recommended.
I loved tent camping on Nathan’s land. He’s cleared a great spot at the top of the mountain, including a dug-in fire pit. Driving a 4x4 is recommended, but it’s a quick hike if you park your car and walk. I bought a bundle of the wood and pitch he sells, which made the fire really easy to start and clean burning. I hope to be back again soon!
