Lake Paradise Camping
Water Spigot Available?
This is an okay place to park overnight. We were aware that there was no electricity or septic, but it advertised it had water. In reality it does not have water on the property that is useable in the way of hooking up a hose to a camper or even conveniently filling a camper potable tank. The closest spigot (one of two) was 200’ away from the nearest parking area that could accommodate a camper. Otherwise, the property was very wide open and easily navigable in the day. It could use a good light at the road to ease finding the place at night. Overall not a terrible experience, just a little less than we expected.

Lake Paradise Camping
Shawn has a nice area set up for camping. It has good level spots with water to fill your tanks. Its secluded with lots of privacy. He is also a very cool guy. We will definitely be back and i highly recommend staying at his property.

Lake Paradise Camping
Good for the price
It was an okay stay. Rugged, but spacious. The host forgot we were coming so there was an 18-wheeler in the middle of the spit which we didn’t really enjoy. But hey the group overall enjoyed our stay.

Lake Paradise Camping
Ground is rugged but it was exactly what we were lookin for! Had a great time. We stayed here, went out to eat at an amazing restaurant CasaSol just down the road, and went to the city playground. Definitely planning to go back someday.

Welcoming Hosts. Must Stay Here!!
Lake Paradise was a wonderful spot to spend our Memorial Day weekend and we would DEFINITELY return. The owners/hosts Shawn and Nina were so welcoming and responsive. The property is open and spacious with many different spots to set up camp. We had access to water and electricity, which were a short walk away. There are picnic tables in the shade by the electric outlet. We enjoyed being able to spread out and have our dog off the leash since we were the only ones there. We threw our trash out at nearby dumpsters on our way to the local shopping plaza less than 10 minutes away, which has a huge variety of stores, restaurants, gas stations, and fast food. A post office and 24/7 laundromat is in the area as well. Not sure about the local wildlife but we accidentally left some food outside our tent overnight and it was undisturbed, which was a huge relief. You should stay here!!
