Hippie Camp
A real hidden gem in college town
This camping spot is tucked behind a modestly nice home thats literally smack in the middle of one of the nicest little college towns ive ever been in. (KSU is the campus nearby). I have a car but i would recommend this place to those who dont because it is close to everything it seems like! Within a short car ride or walking distance there are gas stations, restaurants, bars, smoke shops, and a grocery store. Im sure im leaving out a bunch but let me just say that Hal was a wonderful host and was available to offer information not only about what is near by currently, but he also has some great stories about the history of that particular area, which i found very entertaining and useful. The other folks who live in the home are a mixed bunch different ages and races all very cordial. I felt more than comfortable staying here and will probably do so again in the near future! My only complaint is the mosquitoes, which actually eat me alive pretty much anywhere I go, so to anyone with the same problem I would recommend bringing extra tea tree oil and OFF!

Hippie Camp
To be honest, I would not have felt safe staying there. I didn't realize that your housing would have such high traffic of activity. It honestly didn't feel safe after the 2nd person walked up to your house, not part of hip camp. I also thougt telling 2 females that your backyard was a boy scouts wet dream come true was highly inappropriate. We pulled up and tried to figure a way out of not staying. I considered this a $40 lesson learned about not using Hip Camp ever again. I felt safer sleeping in the truck on the side of the road. Guys might find your offering tolerable but I would highly recommed that females that are travelling alone or together not to stay there. Really bad vibes!

Hippie Camp
Really enjoyed the stay at Hippie Camp. Peaceful site with lists of birds and a nice small stream to relax by. Downtown Kennesaw is 5 minutes away so there’s enough to do if you wish to do city by day, camping by night. Hal is also a super nice host what was quick to offer helpful information about the area. Highly recommend.
