Clear areas in a forest with lagoon
Perfect little spot for me and my 2 dogs. Stayed 2 nights and it felt very private being amongst the trees, even after another group arrived (who were very friendly themselves). It’s a spacious area, plenty of shade offered. April and her husband were very kind and bonus: there’s 2 geese that I could not stop laughing at. They’re just funny characters - I’m sure my dogs certainly thought they were weird looking dogs. Also, I’m fairly sure I heard owls at night and that was pretty neat.

Absolutely perfect place! Loved all the wildlife and the port a potty was very clean! They supplied plenty of great firewood and were extremely welcoming!

Do stop by and stay the night !
April's instructions were perfect and we had no issue finding the camping and lagoon. We were greeted by a pair of geese who showed us very good social skills! We set up in this beautiful treed environment and enjoyed dinner under the canopy with the solar bug zapper very welcome.The portable was clean with paper and sanitizer which were a plus if one has visited other portables! All in all, I recommend the site, easy, quiet, well set up and close to I-95, another plus on a long driving journey. We are new to Hicamp, so now we will always check it when we set out for the next adventures! Thank you April!

Very nice area, easy to access right off i95. It gets very dark out so make sure to bring a flash light and bug spray but very quiet and peaceful. Great place to stop to rest for a night or spend a day in the wilderness.
