Great little spot. Very quiet and secluded. Great fire pit with grate for cooking. Water and electric hookups worked perfectly. Looking forward to staying here again.

Easy Stay
Nice and easy access. Thanks for the quick overnight! Fire wood was a plenty and much appreciated as the temps are getting colder. Don’t forget to leave a tip for using the wood though…I forgot. 😞

Deer a-plenty!
This weekend at Branchsude was great! The property is a short drive to Young Harris and a ton of beautiful hikes! We woke up both mornings to deer right by the campsite, and the views are impressive! Chuck, the camp host, was very gracious, and made us feel right at home. The site was private and clean, with a very nice fire area right next to the branch. We'll definitely be back!

Cool place to stay near Rockcrusher
The two sites were perfect and close to the event we were attending. Chuck turned the water on for us to use even though it was still getting to freezing temps. He came to speak with us a little bit and informed it would be shut off at dark. Very cool place to stay and donation box for firewood.

Private and peaceful! Great host!
Private campsite! Chuck provides two campsites, but only books one family or group at a time so that people can enjoy the woods, campsite, creek, and view of the mountains and farm in peace and solitude.
Chuck was incredibly gracious, and lives on the same peace of land and is able to keep an eye on things or help out when needed.
We had total privacy until we had a question about something, and Chuck offered to come over and check it out for us. The host was a pleasure to speak with, and even told us of some cool places to check out while we were there, which we loved! We drove to Bell Knob before going to Brasstown Bald upon his recommendation. We now call it Graffiti Mountain, seen as an artistic endeavor by some people, and it was quite the view of Hiawassee from up there resulting in great 360° photos from the top of the viewing deck after ascending the stairs. We also got some great drone video and a fun twisty, steep drive.
Our young children thoroughly enjoyed playing in the Chuck’s creek, rearranging the metal animal decorations, reading books inside of our tent with a beautiful mountain view, walking along the farm dirt road, and in general running around in a safe area without any concerns about other campers or drivers.
We had the option to stay for another night, but elected to drive 2 1/2–3 hours to Cloudland Canyon on the other side of the state.
We are planning to go back to North Georgia next winter and Branchside will be our favorite campsite again!

Lovely place and very private as long as no one is staying on site #2. I believe the host tries to maintain privacy by not booking both sites unless you need them. Maybe double check with the host about that if you go.
We stayed only one night as we were passing through (Site #1 ). It was a bit tricky to find because some of the roads looked like driveways, but Chuck was available by phone to help.
There was a gravel pad and a couple of boards for leveling, a picnic table and another (iron) table with chairs and a couple of plastic Adirondack chairs…so, plenty of seating! There’s also a fire pit with wood stacked. We didn’t have a fire, but I think you’d just leave a donation if you use it (if no option to buy on Hipcamp). Since we were there in the fall, we had no issues with bugs and we saw a doe with her two little ones.
The host is very friendly and communicative. I would definitely stay here again.
