Welcome to a sweet and soulful little piece of the woodlands. Tucked in on 4.5 acres, this spot is a secluded, enchanting piece of old Florida. Stay in one of our three designated camping sites, tie up a hammock, gaze at the pond inhabitants, and check out what's growing in the seasonal garden. Also enjoy the many flowering plants and other special trees. Florida's gem-colored, healing spring waters are just a 20 minutes up the way and local retreat centers and yoga studios dot the area. Gator fans? Head into Gainesville for a game and to visit the University of Florida. Mostly, enjoy. We look forward to hosting you! To note for all guests: We suggest arriving before dark so as to make set up easy and comfortable. We do not require a formal check-in and encourage being self-reliable in set up of primitive campsites. (For something with more structure and a space already set up, check out our Aframe cabin.) We do have water, a composting toilet, sink, and groundtemp shower for your use and ease. ***PLEASE NOTE FARM TOURS AND ANIMAL EXPERIENCES ARE CURRENTLY PAUSED***

Fantastic!!!
There are too many things I loved about camping here - specifically @ the Owl Burrow site! So much space and privacy. Allie has thought of everything to make you feel welcomed, even the sweet dogs came by to check in which we loved! The outhouse is the cutest and shockingly clean and well stocked. I would recommend to anyone and will definitely be back!

Amazing spot!
I loved tent camping at this spot! It’s incredibly private and has an amazing view of the scenic wildflower and lily pond. All the camp spots are so far apart it’s hard to know if anyone is there. The hosts were wonderful and the farm fresh eggs are a must! 10/10.

The Owl Burrow
Beautiful & good for my soul!
This is the BEST campground I have ever stayed at! I go camping often and I admit I am bias as I have a farm and Forest school - so I was very inspired by the setting and dreaming of ways I could do this on our farm. Allie and her dad were super welcoming, talkative and kind. I can see SO much work that they put into this place!! Our first night there Allie brought out her horses for my daughter to meet and the animals were so great/calm around people and in being out of pasture. The set-up is beautiful with the central place to roam around the garden and pond, use the restroom, wash dishes and shower. We had plenty of space to play fetch with our dog and throw a football. We even fed fish. All the sites are separated from each other and I feel our site was the most secluded and beautifully placed back in the woods. There was also plenty of sticks to use for kindling, and they sell wood that they cut from the property if you run out. They had friendly dogs that visited us a few times and were also so gentle to our golden retriever that we brought camping with us. I loved their composting toilet set-up and unique quaint touches to add beauty and character to the place. I feel like the cold water outdoor shower was my morning wellness therapy :) but none of the other members of my camping crew wanted to try it or liked it. The flora of the area is beautiful! I also never noticed any rash causing plants or fire ant mounds anywhere - bonus!
