Shoreline Tent Camping
Awesome stay
Our family of 5 tent camped here and we loved it! Our kids range from 11-5 and all of them had plenty to do, especially feeding the animals! The staff was kind and helpful. The site itself was perfect for our needs with great views! Would definitely recommend and we will be back!

Wild in a weird way
This was an interesting experience that has certainly created unforgettable memories, must of them mostly a bit bizarre. If Karl Hiassen wrote a book with a campground backdrop, this would be it. Before I continue, I’d like to settle that the hosts are absolutely amazing, kind and accommodating individuals, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I found the place to be quite dirty, when stepping close to the water, you could easily spot 2-3-5 trash items, ranging from tampons to cans and socks. This was disappointing since we are camping essentially on private property on someone’s land. I felt awkward bringing my out-of-state guests here for a camping trip.
The next thing is the noise, guests should not expect a secluded away-from-the-city camping experience. I can tell you, camping in my backyard would have been quieter than this campground. The noise of trains would wake us up at least 2 times every night, the murmur of the city including cars and trucks passing by the highway will live with you. The property is situated right next to a shooting range, so we spent all day listening to fire arms. That being said, I do appreciate the owners offering a place to experience camping in the middle of the city, and given that this is a farm, i absolutely support ranchers living off the land and trying to make it work with tourism. But guests should not expect a wilderness experience.
