The camp site was just "ok". Nothing to brag about or be over the top about. Restrooms were clean and area around us was decent. After reading the reviews, I expected more of this place. There were some very uncomfortable people who seem to live there year round and did not give me a safe feeling. One man was staring at us everytime we walked outside or near his campsite. He was ALWAYS peering out of his window at us. When I was leaving the bathroom and attempting to lock the door, all the sudden he was there out of nowhere asking me what I was trying to do. Very strange! Another tenant at the campsite was working on his truck while his dog was outside with him. He seemed to get mad at the dog for some reason and KICKED the dog. I was livid. We had three nights reserved at the campsite, but only stayed two. No refunds are given, but I was not concerned about that.
30 amp rv site was perfect for my two day stay close to silver springs. Campground sites are Pretty close to each other and it appeared to have alot of seasonal campers there. The site I was on had an empty grassy area next to it so it gave a little bit of privacy. Bathrooms were clean and showers had plenty of hot water. For the price this camping spot was perfect.
The site was nice, the people were friendly. It didn't seem to be in the greatest neighborhood but I felt safe. They have some sort of sewage issue and it got pretty smelly sometimes. It worked for the 1 night we were there.
