Welcome to your own, private campsite in the heart of Weeki Wachee surrounded by the wildlife management area, various state parks and fresh water springs! Our well-maintained campsite consists of one large spot, so it will be quiet and dark enough for you to hear the wildlife at night! The campsite is rural and secluded but easy accessible and got multiple grocery stores, berry picking farms and much more close by. The wildlife management area is just a one minute walk from the campsite which includes several springs (buford & eagles nest) that invite you to dive or take out your boat or kayak. There is also a beautiful distillery on site. The famous Weeki Wachee Springs State park is just a short 15 minute drive from your private campsite. Crystal River is a beautiful, historic city which is worth the 15 mile drive north. St. Petersburg and Tampa are an hour south. We, the owners, will be your neighbors (on the same property) so we can assist you with your needs. Your campsite is surrounded by trees which give you plenty of shade and privacy. Right now what we have available is a 20 amp extension cord and a water hose. You can also run your generator. Feel free to use the fire pit, camping chairs and the trampoline. Hiking, fishing, diving, snorkeling, boating, wildlife viewing, cycling or hunting are some activities that are known for our visitors to enjoy! Some animals that you might come across are: Bears, deers, turkeys, squirrels, birds, wild boars, armadillos, coyotes, snakes, fish, dolphins, manatees.. and many more! Daily Site Rate (per group of 6) Tent: $35 Camper/RV: $50 Weekly Site Rate Tent: $225 Camper/RV: $300 (Please note that all cancellations are subject to a fee equal to the amount of one night stay.)

I’ve always been told that if you have nothing nice to say then don’t say anything at all . I will say to anyone that you should save your money and camp elsewhere

My fiance and I had a very relaxing and calm trip perfect for a little get away. Shops all over the place and lots to explore. Highly recommend popping over and enjoying the outdoors

Spacious dog friendly property!
Melissa’s property was so spacious and such a great place to camp especially being able to bring our dog. We set up our tents and had a fire around camp to cook meals which was so nice. My only complaint is that the land itself was not super flat for tent camping but if you’re in a RV or van, it would be perfect. We were too far away for wifi to work, but the host responded super quickly to my message when I asked about it. I would definitely stay here again!

Twin Pines - Tent Camping #1
We had a great time here. My sons jumped on the trampoline, we see up wherever it was best for us since the were no other campers at that time. Melissa was very flexible and we ended up staying more nights than we planned. It's very close to the Chassahowitzka River and the Homossassa wildlife management area which we were primarily exploring. We had a fire and found plenty of wood to burn. It was much more remote than other hip camps in the area and we could barely hear cars in the far distance. It was a very nice place to get away from the development of the area.

It was very easy to stay at this site- directions were easy and we were able to pick the site that was best for us since there were no other campers. Our sons loves jumping on the trampoline and we easily found firewood to have a fire. Melissa quickly responded to any questions I had. It was very quiet and far away from town, unlike other hip camp sites in the area. We wanted something close to the homossassa wildlife management area and this was just down the road. We had a great time and ended up staying and extra night.
