Historic downtown Venice is close by as well as weekly farmers markets and many good live music venues including Englewood’s On Dearborn Street which has live National Blues Bands every Wednesday & Thursday nights. The cottage is private and quiet with lush tropical greenery and a natural pond which is the home of some of Florida’s most exquisite birds. It’s not unusual to see egrets, blue herons, wood storks, flocks of ibis, and plenty of other breathtaking species while you’re having your morning coffee.
