Privacy and country comforts, yet 3 miles from the I-75 exit. Grocery and restaurants nearby as well. There is a stable and 2.5 acre cross-fenced pasture. An RV site with 30A power and water hookup. Tent sites nearby. A one room cabin with a queen bed is available with a separate full bathroom. The neighbors have 2 donkeys and 2 goats. Another has a friendly horse. You will hear roosters early in the morning. The Withlacoochee Trail is a mile east at the end of the road. This is a biking, hiking and equestrian trail. Florida Classic Park is roughly 2 miles north on Lockhart. The Croom Recreational Area is also 3 miles away.

Host and his son were very understanding of my last minute booking and we're very flexible with my arrival time. This RV spot has electric and water, please bring your own bathroom situation though. Spot was easy to find and pull thru! The dog area is 2 acres fenced in with balls and bags included. Host also informed me this area was a SniffSpot and could be rented in time blocks for other travelers/locals fur babies -what a fun idea! I was told about the tortoise but wasn't lucky enough to see any myself. This spot isn't great for solar, though the shade provided by the many trees was very nice and made for the perfect temperature when I visited early December. There was a hiccup with my dogs being too loud one day where I left them in their kennels, however Michael (the son) was very understanding and polite to contact me directly and for the rest of the stay my dogs were under control so there was no (I think) ill rapport. Would definitely recommend this spot if you find yourself in the area last minute or just want a quiet place to getaway from the city.
