Site 1 - Peace of nature campsite
Convenient to UF
This site was conveniently located to where we were going but unfortunately for $50 a night it was way overpriced! We paid for hook ups but the elec was a 110 extension cord coming out a window with a 30 amp adapter. the 1st night, was fixed. The 2nd day/night it was never on. I texted 3-4 times and called….nothing. Besides that the area needed a good clean up and it took us forever to get our 28’ trailer out of there. I’m not a complainer, in 75 yrs I’ve sent food back once. Been traveling the US & Canada for 2 1/2 yrs and been fortunate until now. If he’d at least responded and gotten the elec on I would have been ok.

Perfect location for GatorNationals. Could hear them racing from our spot. Jose was a good host.

Chill little spot
Good communication and directions. It was great that we could book last minute same day and he met us late. We had a site right next to the private road with their house in view but all was quiet. Would have liked a spot a little away from the road but it was very convenient to unload the car right next to the spot. We couldn’t do the tour but did see some chickens roaming in the morning. It was quiet. Good view of the stars. Didn’t hear car traffic and surrounded by trees otherwise.

Peace of nature campsite
José went above and beyond to accommodate my family. I’m so grateful about how quickly the host responded to my message. There was ample space for our large tent but the forest hadn’t been desecrated. It’s obvious that José neither clear cuts the land nor leaves the ecosystem there to choke itself out with unchecked new growth. The campsite is especially lovely in the early morning. We couldn’t hear the highway from there. All in all, I highly recommend this spot.
