This RV site is located on a wooded corner acre lot in a large designated grassy area just past a residential driveway. Enjoy visits from deer, barred owls, red-shouldered hawks, bats, and other Florida critters housed in the 13 acres of undeveloped land across the street. Within a 5 minute walk are the Pepper Creek Birding Trail and Homosassa Wildlife State Park. Within a 5 minute drive are boat and kayak launch sites, groceries, restaurants, and coffee shops. Old Homosassa is popular for fishing, scalloping, swimming with manatees, the freshwater springs, and enjoying Florida's nature coast. Enjoy a toasty fire pit and the sound of evening crickets, or see the stars away from the party crowd. This is a semi-wooded area on the edge of a residential community surrounded by palm trees, live oaks, sweetgum, magnolia, palmettos, and bamboo. Nice small site, Marissa was very helpful with everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay, very quiet and secure. My only recommendation would be to have an electrical outlet & water connection closer to where the RV is parked and a separate 30 amp breaker exclusive for RV to avoid power going out. Everything else was great, would recommend to friends & family.

Shady Oak Homosassa RV Camper Site
What a lovely place to camp and see the sights of the area. The campsite is right next to the wildlife park. Downtown Homosassa is minutes away as are groceries and other services. The site is peaceful and quiet and flat for campers. The access to the laundry room is so nice … the machines seem very new and big. We backed our 5th wheel trailer into the campsite … the road is busy at times with big gaps or quiet but be prepared to navigate that. Fairly easy.
