Located on 5 acres in the Ocala National Forest, Hookie's Hideaway is the perfect place to stay for easy access to all of nature's bounty and activities. This property is easily accessible, serene and peaceful. Campsites are in a beautiful grove of pine and sycamore trees. We are surrounded by forested camping areas and close enough to drive into town to pick up groceries or get a meal. We have a "you pick them" blueberry farm when in season. We are pet friendly! If you have a pet please add the pet Extra at checkout so you will be charged a $20 pet fee ($10 for the trailers). We are close to hiking, horse trails, lakes and springs. Bocce Ball and Croquet is available to play here anytime! We are only a short distance away from amazing horse riding trails and Florida's most popular natural springs. We live on the property and are available during normal business hours. We are free to ask questions and give suggestions for surrounding activities and dining options. We will interact as little or as much as you need. Birds singing in the morning and crickets at night ensure a restful getaway here. Our property is the perfect place to escape the noise and high paced city life.

The Beehive
Wonderful impromptu visit
We loved our stay at the Blueberry Farm. Be warned there are quite a bit of mosquitoes but they provide bug spray definitely use it! We had booked one of the vintage trailers but due to an issue we got to stay at a different site on the property. We stayed for a couple days and the springs were amazing we visited Silver Springs and Juniper Springs. Highly recommend visiting the springs and bring swimming supplies!

Hookie's Hideaway Forest Camp
I loved camping at Hookie’s Hideaway. Great location to several springs. The outside shower was a delight and the chickens were adorable, Cassandra was communicative and very Accommodating. One thing I’d suggest is to bring lots of Citronella, candles, bug spray, and citronella incense. Oh, and my puppy Miles loved running around the beautiful property. See you guys in November! Hopefully not so buggy😝

Cute little RV (Little lulu). Perfect little area for little ones too to play and wander around. Mosquitoes were rough (of course - it is florida!) but nothing a little campfire smoke and spray wont fix.

Little Lulu
Great experience. Peaceful. Didn't see a soul. The camper AC worked well and this was a great Hipcamp experience.

no fridge/freezer
nice property, but inaccurate listing and lack of host were aggravating. there is NO REFRIGERATION/FREEZER. I brought meat to grill all weekend, but had no way to store it. the sink would not drain and the person "nearby to help" couldn't get there till the last day of our stay. additionally the front door knob consistently fell off. the property is beautiful, but the inconsistencies were annoying

Blueberry Farm Country Cottage
Perfect Getaway weekend!
We had such a great stay! We decided to go away for my fiancé's birthday, and this was only an hour or so from home. The cottage was great, fully stocked and comfortable for the 2 of us and our pups. The outdoor shower is a nice option, and fresh eggs are a plus. We enjoyed shopping at the local market and thrift store and the drive in movie theater, about half hour away, was great too. A bigger fridge would have been nice, but we did just fine as we only stayed the weekend. 🙂 Can't wait to come back and stay again!
