Picnic table for meals that can easily fit 8 people. Some small walking trails are behind the camp site. Fires must be in the fire ring and has wood available. Please do not cut down any trees! Oleno park and multiple springs are close by. Up to four kayaks available for rental.
This is a beautiful and private campsite. While there are lots of trees, there is a clearing which also allows for a great view of the stars. It isn't close to a main road and I could barely even hear car noise at night. Highly recommend this place.
Would absolutely camp here again! Very quick drive over to some wonderful hiking! Had a small trail behind the campground for a 5 min little hike. My dog got fired up both nights when an armadillo came tromping through the woods nearby. We thought that was great! Huge fire pit to get warm (ended up really cold our first night)
Camp site was as described by the host, and that is just what we wanted. The host was kind enough to bring us a water hose and an extension cord. The site felt very secluded and away from noises. William thought of the little things such as solar motion lights, fire ring and a huge picnic table! Thanks again for hosting us if/when we are back in Florida will plan on staying again.
If your looking for seclusion and being left alone this site will fit your needs!!
Highly recommend this campsite! Very clean and simple but had all the little things we needed. The hosts are kind and generous and we really appreciate how helpful they were and for the delicious free range eggs! Will be back for sure next time we are in the area!
