Relax with your feet up by the historic Suwannee River under majestic hickory trees, catch some bass from the dock or along the river bank. Walking distance to Royal Springs and boat ramp. Bring your gear to the Spring Diving capital or go spring hopping in a kayak to the many local springs in the area. Have the site to yourself, or bring your friends as there are 3 full hookups (30 amp) and one electric/water only as well as beautiful spots for tent camping. Just message me and I'll make the additional site(s) available. Bring a picnic lunch and walk to Royal Springs and jump off the dock into the crystal clear blue/green spring. Bring your boat or jet ski as there is a boat ramp at the spring as well. Go spring hopping to some of the many beautiful springs in the area, such as Little River Spring, Peacock Springs, Charles Springs, and be sure to tube the lazy river at Ichetucknee Springs. If your kiddos like animals, we also have horses, rabbits, chickens, a parrot, etc. right down the street. Additional hook ups are available if you're traveling with friends. Royal Springs Retreat

Private spot on the River

Wonderful, private spot right on the river. Had everything we needed including a place to put in our canoe and our dog enjoyed being able to roam around. We went through hurricane Debby while there so things weren't as relaxing and peaceful as it would be with good weather. The owners, Tony and Christine came over after the storm to help us get our canoe out of the water and help cut us out from the downed trees and branches. It was very much appreciated and they are great people! Loved the spot and we will be back - later in the year....

Royal Springs Retreat

Best private campground so far!!

This campground have everything you need! Pack your personal items and head that way! I had so much fun! Power, water, sewer and CABLE! The overhang is great for rainy days. The steps to go down to the river is beautiful! The included cayaks, paddle board, life jackets, charcoal, grill, etc was very nice! I love how quiet it was and I really did not want to leave! Definatly coming back soon!!!! The spring is so close and the dirt road are perfect for RV/Trailers.

Great location with all the amenities. It rained every afternoon but the carport was great and kept us dry. A few good launch spots and a quick little paddle to Royal springs.

Camping Joy

Note: Written for people who care more about "Feelings" than logistics. Logistics are well covered elsewhere ☺️ What an amazing visit! My husband and I, along with our 6yo grand son and my sister-in-law visited for several days mid July 2024. Christine, who was out of town due to family matters, coordinated everything for our stay with perfection, during which, her location was hit by a Hurricane! Her husband, Tony, was absolutely among the finest "on-site" hosts we've ever encountered. We'll return not just to experience the magnificent location, which is perfectly documented in various pictures on this site, but because, as often happens within our community, we made new friends in Christine and Tony. Our purpose for being there was that a bunch of old Navy Buddies were visiting for the weekend. We and another couple have RVs, our other friends don't. No problemo! They have a gorgeous VRBO https://www.vrbo.com/3263260 within walking distance. So, if you're looking for the perfect place to relax, read a book, drink a glass of wine and feel centered, this could be your place. See you down the road, my friends! Cheers-Gaby

Old Florida down upon the Suwannee

Christine’s place is great. Having the large Rv cover was great for keeping the Rv shaded and being able to cook and hang outside when it was raining. The Propety is right on the Suwannee river. Even though we were in the middle of a heat advisory it was much cooler being close to the water. A breeze most of the time. We plugged in some fans easy enough because there is electricity plugs in convenient places. There is a house next door that shares a fence. It’s an Airbnb and the renters were celebrating 4th of July pretty hard. I would think most others staying in an area like this would be more low key and more nature oriented. That being said, we are looking forward to returning. Christine’s is a very relaxing and chill place that we throughly enjoyed. Being able to kayak right from the property was amazing. There is a spring down the road. I walked to it no problem. They are redoing the parking lot right now but you can paddle to it. Christine even let us use their kayaks and paddles. The area is great representation of old Florida that is quickly disappearing. I’m grateful to Christine and family fir sharing it with us.
