Beautiful waterfront sites. Pitch your tent or pull up your camper to these riverfront campsites on the bank of the beautiful Suwannee River in North Florida. Fishing, swimming, nature walks and total serenity await you.. Bring your fishing poles. There are also many freshwater springs in the area Stores and gas stations are within 10 minutes of the retreat and Turner Point boat ramp is just a few minutes away. The Retreat is temporarily closed due to flooding on the Suwannee River. We are just 10 minutes north of Old Town off of State 349.

It's very quiet & peaceful. Ms. Debra was so very kind, accommodating, bent over backwards hospitable when my reservation got messed up....she made sure we were ok. She went above and beyond anything I could ever hope for. Not only would use her services again, but I made a new friend 🥰

River Life Retreat Name says it all

Highly recommended! Beautiful view of the Great Suwannee River. Awesome sounds of nature at night. Debbie was a great host and her friend Lem was a great guide into the woods. Can't wait to do a return trip!

Last campout of the year

Blissful peace and quiet. Debbie is a very gracious hostess who met us on the main road and guided us to her property. GPS is unreliable. 20 amp service available but bring a 20 amp extension cord. Recommend using a water filter. We bring our own drinking water anyway. Downside is sketchy cell phone service but that was okay.

It is a beautiful spot on the river, a great place to relax and unwind. Big fish were jumping in the Suwannee River!
