The property was originally an exotic plant nursery specializing in rare fruits and flowers.20 acres of Outdoor lover’s paradise! Hundreds of exotic and native plants, five stocked ponds swarming with fish, tons of birds and wildlife, and beautiful nature trails. A truly unique place, best described as an oasis. A plant and nature enthusiast’s playground! The house is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath “camp style” manufactured home, with a heated plunge pool, outdoor shower, screened in porch, and other upgrades. Great place for the ultimate “glamping” experience. Fire pit, hammocks, grills, and picnic tables are provided, making the perfect setup. There is room for RV parking and plenty of places to setup campsites w/ picnic tables. We also have a bounce house w/ water slide available for rent, great for keeping the kids occupied! A great place for family reunions, kids birthdays, and multi family vacations. We are located in the center of many popular outdoor attractions. Within a 10 to 30 minute drive you can reach- •The Sandlot off-road park•Babcock eco tour•Gatorama alligator park•Fisheating creek kayaking•Bermont shooting Club•Highway 74 motocross/off-road park•Redneck mud park•Cecil-Webb WMA•Paintball partyz•Peace river•Shell creek & more Also within reach is the Everglades, amazing beaches, world class inshore fishing, historic towns, and great waterfront restaurants. The closest store is 30 minutes away, remember to bring all the supplies you will need. The property is located in farm and cattle land, you will have to take dirt roads to get there. We are located in an area of true Country living! The area is peaceful and beautiful, a great place to relax and unwind. To keep a safe and pleasant environment we have put together a list of rules. Non-compliance could result in a non-refundable termination of the rental and being asked to vacate the property. Outdoor surveillance is present. 1. Firearms are to be unloaded at all times and transported through outdoor spaces in cases or covers. Walking around the property with an open firearm is strictly prohibited. 2. Please do not collect, harvest, or harass; plants, fish, or wildlife. Cast-netting is strictly prohibited.3. Off-road vehicle operation is not allowed.4. Exceeding predetermined occupancy must be approved and each guest must check in with identification. 5. Please do not bring pets that are animal aggressive, not house trained, not on flea prevention, or not up to date on shots. $50 cleaning fee will be added for pets, and must be approved prior to arrival.6. Please keep all open flames in the designated fire pit area.7. Littering is not tolerated, please discard cigarette butts and all other trash into bins.8. Guest’s are not permitted in the barn or nursery area. 9. No swimming in ponds. 10. Please do not feed wildlife other than fish in the ponds.11. To avoid septic backups please dispose of all paper products into waste bins in bathrooms. 12. Please return all items clean and organized for the next guests enjoyment (yard games, hammocks, grills, etc.). Workers may be present in the nursery area feeding animals or tending to plants. Our nursery is still under renovations, however we do have a small inventory of exotic plants found throughout the property.

Perfect outdoor getaway

We had the most wonderful time at our girls weekend retreat here! It was perfect for what we were looking for and needed. The pool was great, the host was great, and we would definitely recommend!!

I had a great time at this property with friends for my bday. The rooms are large and the kitchen and living space too. The outdoors is the best part. It’s way more beautiful in person. The only downsides were that cleaning could be better (spider webs everywhere on the deck, and dusty countertops) and the location is very remote. You’ll need to drive on a dirt road for 10 minutes. Very difficult to find at night and the GPS somehow routes you to the wrong place.

Spacious place that could comfortably accommodate 10 people and offers an array of activities. However, the internet isn’t really the best and the cable is pretty spotty, but all said if you even thought about reserving this place, then chances are you were looking to get away anyway.

Our stay at Punta Gorda was wonderful! Everything is lush, green, and beautiful, even in the winter when we visited. There are so many incredible species of trees, both flowering and fruit-producing. We really enjoyed walking around the property and seeing the variety of plants. There are some wonderful trails around the property, all different and showcasing a bit of natural Florida. There are three ponds on the property which are stunning, and each has a picnic table and a nice path for campers to go out and enjoy the great weather and beautiful views. The house is clean and spacious. We loved how much room there was to spread out, perfect for either a group of campers or just two, like us. We wish we could have stayed longer, there's so much beauty to soak up!
