Safe, beautiful, thoughtful hosts!
Another amazing trip, this was our third stay here and it’s a great location. Easy access to the springs and to the store for anything you need. We felt very safe here we would recommend this site to anyone. We have a 31 ft Class A, tow dolly, and jeep we are traveling with and there is plenty of room. The hosts are so kind and even invited us to Thanksgiving dinner! We felt at home and very safe on the site.

Favorite Place to Stay
This is our favorite Hip Camp. The site is easy to access and the grounds a beautifully kept. The hosts, Rick and Kim, are genuinely welcoming and hospitable people. They respect your privacy but are always there to help with any needs you may have, whether it’s a problem with your vehicle or RV, advice on the best places to go or just an honest and friendly conversation,. My wife feels completely safe here when I’m not around and it’s a comfort to me knowing that Rick and Kim are here.

Not ideal for single females
I learned a lot from Rick during my 6 week stay so I hope he will be open to learn something from me, now. Rick needs to stop telling, as he calls them, “little white lies”, like telling the neighbor I am his sister, which made me uncomfortable. He also needs to listen as much or more than he talks. In my very first message to Richard I detailed that I would likely need to stay beyond October 31st. I iterated this again after Week 1 of my stay (which he obliged). By Week 5, I brought this up again, and all of the sudden he started gaslighting me, first saying they booked other people then changing the story to they had to leave to Carolinas, leaving me confused instead of understanding. I started thinking “which was it, since we agreed that he wouldn’t book anyone without talking with me first and he could go ‘anytime to Carolinas’?". All I needed was someone to be direct with me, like saying “we have changed our mind”, which would have been completely acceptable. During this confusion he raised his voice at me and then later became aggressive over messaging. In the end, I did not feel safe so I booked elsewhere.

Love it!
This place is fantastic! Beautiful, private and relaxing. Rick and Kim are friendly and inviting, yet not intrusive at all! Will definitely be spending many weekends here!

Unfortunately we could not stay at this camp site, we had to shorten our vacation. But the place was nice and cleaned with full hookup. The host was nice and very helpful on arrival. the camp site is near the host main house on a residential area, so not a lot of privacy but as I said, very nice set up.
