Enjoy Peacefulness on the beautiful historic Suwannee River, fish, canoe, kayak, hike, bike, view wildlife.  The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park is within 8 miles of this property and about 7 miles from the Stephen Foster Memorial State Park. Many Springs are located close by where you can swim and scuba dive. There is a Canoe Outpost close by that offers drop off and pick up with canoes. Property has many trees, cement benches around a firepit, picnic table, a large extra work table for cooking. Bring your RV, Tent, Van, Hammock or whatever you are comfortable in. Unwind, relax and enjoy the sounds and beauty of nature. I supply a map of the River and the surrounding area to help you make the most of your experience. If you need help with things I am close by. There is soo much history about the Suwannee River in North Florida! :D It is known that Indians once traveled along these banks and proof has been found from many Arrow Heads and other artifacts being found along the Suwannee River. There are many Springs along the over 240 miles of River as it empties into the Gulf of Mexico. The Suwannee River begins it's journey in the Okefenokee Swamp in South Georgia. This is also where the Suwannee River gets it's tannic color from the decaying vegetation in the swamp. Off Grid Suwannee River Camping
Camping creek side
An awesome riverside camp spot! Plenty of room and open sky for star gazing also. Some un-even spots but, plenty of 'blocks' to level your vehicle if needed. Kim, was easily the best to communicate with and get rolling. High canopy for my van coming in from the "cable side". So. Van Life Nomads, you'll be ok. I little tough with 1 person if ya got a kayak due to the steep ban. Steps are there though! We'll be back! Thanks KIM!

Off Grid Suwannee River Camping
Clean, private, and beautiful camp
Another camping spot added to our favorites list. Big enough for a family of 8 or more to roam around ....multiple camp site options. Exploring the site we found nice river bank area where everyone could relax on the bank of the suwannee without having to walk down steep steps (notibly a better area to launch any type of kayak or canoe) and only short walk away on the property.  Campsite felt private. We didnt see other people other than occasional boaters and canoers on the river.  The hum of I-75 traffic was unexpected at night and a lil annoying but during the day it wasnt noticable. Host was responsive to questions. I hauled my 6x12 enclosed trailer with all our camping gear and didnt have any issues getting onto the property.  Overall great camping experience. Will come back again.

Off Grid Suwannee River Camping
The site was beautiful. Great location on the Suwanee River. We only saw 3 other people on the river near the site during our stay. So, nice and secluded in that sense. We exploring the river by canoe, fishing, stargazing and walking through the woods on the site and down the dirt road leading to the site. The river fog on a cold morning was a beautiful sight to wake up to. The hum from I-75 was a little unexpected, although it shouldn't have been looking at a map. It wasn't too noticeable during the day. Only at night, for an admittedly light sleeper. Could've been the direction of the wind affecting it. Accessing the river from the site (very nicely situated on a 15 foot bluff above the river) was a little difficult with a 16 foot canoe. It's doable and shouldn't dissuade most from staying, you just have to get a little inventive. Just a heads up for those with a bigger boat. Maybe bring some extra rope and a sense of ingenuity (which any camper ought to have anyway). There is a bank by the river to store the boat so no need to bring it up and down from the site for every outing. River access with a smaller kayak should be a breeze down a well-maintained set of stairs. The river bank is fun to walk along and explore. The picnic table and fire ring were much appreciated and put to good use during our stay. Overall we had a nice stay and would stay again for a quick trip to the woods and river.

Great spot to get away.
This is a great tenting area to stay along the Suwannee River. It is set back away from inhabited adjoining properties, so there is plenty of privacy. The stairs leading down to the waters edge were a bit steep, however we were able to navigate down these with our dogs so they could enjoy swimming in the river. Overall, I would recommend staying on this site.

Loved the primitive camping getting away from everything. Saw some deer and enjoyed looking at river and having a fire.

My family and I loved Kim's 2 acres off grid camping! Next to the river and with no neighbors!!! From the start, Kim kept me updated due to the river being high because of heavy rain in Georgia. She texted me and updated me almost everyday. When I arrived, there are two entrances to the camp, one is long and wide which can fit most campers and the second one is smaller. I tried the smaller one because the main entrance was flooded. Unfortunately, my RV would not fit through the smaller one. Kim told me to do whatever I had to do to gain access. I used an Axe and took a couple of small trees down and some branches. I was able to go in the camp with no problem! Kim texted me all the time, to the point I felt I had known her for years. The camp is GREYS, my kids enjoyed every single minute there. It is safe, with a fire pit and benches. There is also a picnic table for you to sit next to the river. I did not use the portable toilet, but if you are tent camping, bring bags and you are set! Before I left after 2 nights, I cleared up the second entrance and made 4 feet wider so when I come back I'm using that entrance again. I would definitely come back, it was WELL WORTH the 2.5 hour drive!!! Thank you very much Kim! I will stay in touch with you and next time I'm bringing my parents with me, they loved the pictures I took! If you love the outdoors, no neighbors, SUPER DARK nights and the sound of birds, Book this camp, you won't regret it. I Highly recommend this camp!!
