Mike & Maggie bought this beautiful property 38 years ago. Their house, The Cracker Shack, is 100 plus years old and is the second generation home of the Gainer family who settled the Econfina area in the 1820's. It's made of heart pine and the fireplace was carved from the limestone in Econfina Creek.Maggie's Musical Farm is located in the beautiful Econfina area of Bay County Florida. Our "Cracker Shack" is the second generation home of the Gainer Family, founders of Bay County, Florida and was built circa 1890. We have a beautiful stage and audience viewing structure called a Hotangle. Econfina Creek recreation area is less than a mile from the Farm where they offer free kayaking, canoeing, swimming, picnicking and hiking in thousands of woodland acres maintained by Northwest Florida Water Management. Reservations for canoe/kayaks can be made at Econfina Creek Canoe Livery . We are surrounded by many wooded acres and very few visible houses. Our "camping" area is dedicated with a campfire circle and privacy fencing. We offer 2 outdoor showers and 2 porta potties, at the moment, with plans for a permanent toilet facility. We also host musical events Sunday afternoons November through March, with some of the best touring Americana Singer/Songwriters in the country today. Wonderful Experience

Absolutely beautiful place, right down the road from natural springs. The space is large and very well maintained. Very easy to set up camp on the even ground too. The stars out there are absolutely breathtaking, and having clean porta potties and hot showers was an even better bonus. Maggie and Mike were so welcoming even last minute on a holiday and they went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed! 1000% will be returning.
