A Special Alert!! We have been impacted by the flooding of the Withlacoochee River after hurricane Milton. We are happy to announce that the water has gone down enough for us to open our Live Oak Hammock site to RV campers. The pavilion, where the bathrooms are, is still under some water and we are not able to open the bathrooms at this time. RV campers can book Live Oak Hammock where there is full hookup and electric once again. He still have Magnolia Hill sites blocked until we can get the bathrooms up and working again. Thanks for your understanding and we hope to have Lucky U Ranch open again in the near future. Authentic old Florida homestead. Beautiful Spanish moss veiled Grandfather Oak trees, rolling subtle grassy hills and Cypress filled wetlands with an abundant of bird life every day. We raise Nigerian Dairy goats and always have time for goat visits and petting. Our horses are boarded at night and roam freely during the day along with our donkeys. Hiking our land and marked trails, gives you the feeling of serenity and back to nature, clearing your mind so you can remember what nature is all about. Just minutes away are amazing places and parks like the Withlacoochee State park, Hog Island and the Withlacoochee river, where kayaking is a must. Peace and quiet and privacy as you tent [October through June], stay in one of our RV's or bring your own. Be part of our AGRITOURISM VENUE and take part in the RANCH EXPERIENCE, a guided visit to meet and pet our livestock, from baby goats to miniature horses! Get to pet one of our over 60 goats and check out our twin turkeys and many chickens.... Pigs are just begging to be scratched as well!!! ENJOY!

Perfect 40th B-day at Lucky U Ranch

We had a wonderful time at Forest Edge. Rob and Mike went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. They were so accommodating to let us keep our reservation after the Withlacoochee flooded areas of the ranch due to Hurricane Helene. We had a lot of fun swinging in the blue swing and walking around to find the horses and donkeys. Our girls loved feeding them. On Saturday Rob and Mike took us on the Ranch tour and we were able to meet all the other animals on the Ranch. We even were able to a pet a turkey, really cool. This was our first time staying in a RV and we really enjoyed it. The RV was clean and well stocked with things for the kitchen, towels and shampoos for the shower. We had fun relaxing at the RV, hanging out with "Purrman" the cat, watching movies on the outside RV TV, making bonfires both nights and eating Smores. We made a lot of memories and can't wait to return!!

Planning another visit…

My kids and I spent two nights at the Grey Wolf camper and we absolutely loved it. We were the only campers but I still felt safe and I really enjoyed the peace and quiet. Kids were excited about their first RV experience, the tree swings, just playing outside, and of course…the free roaming donkeys and horses (very demanding, by the way, when they’re expecting snack from you! Don’t leave anything on the picnic table outside - they’ll get into it and make mess.) We didn’t get to explore the trails but the farm tour was fun. The camper was clean, everything worked and the outdoor showers were perfect. Mike and Rob were super nice and very responsive. I’m already thinking when we could go back to connect with nature again and get more fresh eggs :-)

Had to return with a girlfriend of mine who is not a nature person at all. She LOVED the space! Rob and Mike are my new best friends. See you guys again soon!

We loved it!

We had a great time at Lucky U Ranch. We are normally tent campers, so the RV was a great upgrade for summer camping in Florida. There weren't any other campers while we were there so it was really quiet. The campsite is right across from the bathroom and shower building, so I imagine if the campground is full the Forest Edge location might feel less private. We already booked a return trip for January and will probably return again later in the spring. We enjoyed the add ons of the gas grill and fresh eggs. Next time we will probably get more eggs to bring home with us. So happy to have been invited on a farm tour, it was fun to learn more about our hosts and their animals. Rob and Mike were great hosts. We highly recommend a stay at Lucky U Ranch.

The camping at the ranch was amazing ! The property itself was better than we even expected. Picture don’t do it justice. We had such a great time. Being greeted by donkeys and horses every morning while making breakfast was such a unique experience. Rob and Mike were such incredible hosts who went above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and at home and were they anytime you needed something. We highly recommend this place and the two hosts and will be back again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Rob and Mike’s campsite! The animals were so cool, the area was nice, very chill at night time which made the trip so relaxing. Thank you both and we will definitely be back soon!
