I’d love to say I found anything slightly unexceptional about this place, in order to steer others away and ensure I have a place to keep going back to, but I cannot.
The hosts were exceptional, and my visit to the farm, playing with the goats, holding the babies, visiting all the other animals, was extremely fun and I learned a lot.
My campsite was super shaded and peaceful, other than the visit from the donkeys and horses in the mornings, which was the highlight of my trip (bring some carrots and you’ll ensure daily visits). In the middle of summer, with a battery operated fan, it was never too hot!
The bathrooms/showers/coffee station is better than hotels I’ve been to and way beyond other hipcamps I’ve visited.
Again, I’d like to tell everyone to avoid this place, so when I book in the future I don’t have to worry about my favorite site being occupied, but I’m afraid word will spread fast about this amazing camp/farm.
Thank you to Mike and Rob for allowing people to experience your beautiful property and amazing hospitality!

This place is gorgeous. The personal extra touches they have here are outstanding. Our site was beautiful. The best location we have been to! Hope to return next year for a longer stay!

Rob and Mike's land and their attention to detail was wonderful. We have been to about a dozen Hipcamp locations in the past; the Lucky U ranch stands out as one of the most interesting. We shared the experience with another couple (related) and both of us were impressed.
Rob and Mike greeted us on our arrival and helped us set up our trailer so that it was level, and offered to assist in making the connections to the electric and water. After we were set up they offered to give us a tour of the ranch on the second day of our stay (see below).
The campsites we stayed at were close enough to be convenient to both couples but far enough away from each other that privacy was not a concern. The campsite had flush toilets (2) and showers (also 2) with hot water. The showers had products for personal cleaning. In addition the shelter that contains the toilets and showers has a sink for cleaning dishes, a microwave, and pod type coffee maker with refrigerated creamer and sugar.
The ranch is a delight. The tour (which we had on the first full day due to weather) included an opportunity to interact with goats of all sizes and pigs. In addition we saw beautiful turkeys and geese. Each day we had the opportunity to interact with several horses and donkeys that graze the areas near the campsites. All of the animals we interacted with were friendly and almost tame.
This Hipcamp is one we definitely recommend if you're planning to stay in the area.

🤩 AMAZING TENT CAMPING 😍
Just book! You won't regret it! Lots of love goes into this place and it shows!
Great location along our travels. Wonderful hosts. Five star accomodations. Loved the bathrooms, showers, dish washing sink, and coffee. Very clean! Towels, shampoo/cond, soap, coffee all provided. The entire property is beautiful. Trails to walk, tons of land to explore. Our site had a great private shaded location and they even provided us with our first bundle of wood. Having the horses and donkeys visit in the morning was a highlight. Best hipcamp ever!

Great campsite with lots to see and do. I enjoyed being able to pet the horses and other animals.
