Joy Bamboo Forest Farm is a tropical Asper bamboo farm located in the charming city of Sebring, FL. We offer a unique agritourism experience with campsites surrounded by bamboo trees. Each campsite features full hookups and a smokeless fire pit. The farm is surrounded by other fields on three sides, which makes it feel far away from it all and provides spectacular unobstructed views of sunrises and sunsets, and lots of stars at night. Enjoy a stroll among the 5 acres of bamboo trees or listening to the rustling of bamboo leaves on the plants surrounding the campsite. Be mesmerized by a dancing fire from the smokeless fire pit provided or just simply kick back and enjoy the slower pace of life. Located in the charming city of Sebring, recently picked for the HGTV show Home Town Takeover, Joy Bamboo Forest Farm is in close proximity to a few beautiful crystal clear lake beaches, Highlands Hammock State Park, and the famous Sebring International Raceway. Centrally located, Sebring is within a couple hours drive to most Florida destinations, with a train station a couple miles away from the farm. Joy Bamboo Forest Farm is only 5 to 10 minutes away from major stores and various restaurants, hospitals, parks, laundromats and all the modern conveniences. This back in campsite can accommodate any length camper or RV. It has full hookups with 20/30/50 amp electric, city water and sewer hookups. All utilities are included in the price. It also has a smokeless fire pit and a large storage bin which can double up as a bench, with a foldable picnic table inside. No smoking within 50 ft of an occupied site and no dogs except service dogs allowed. There is a row of bamboo plants on each side of the lot running east to west, providing nice greenery and some privacy. Watch unobstructed sunrise and sunset views from your site, as the farm is surrounded by fields on three sides. The road and the pad are made of durable shell rock, which have seashells in them and provide for a more natural setting. Although this farm feels far away from it all, it is only a few minutes away from major supermarkets, stores, restaurants, laundromats, lake beaches, hospitals, parks as well as a train station conveniently connecting it to all the major destinations in Florida.

Simple stay
21 ft travel trailer
The site is easy to find and settle into. Fire pit and picnic table are a nice addition. Quite area. We adventured to Highlands Hammock State Park. That is a must visit. If you are a biker bring your own the rentals at State Park are not that great. Not far to town but far enough to feel secluded.

We camped there to dodge hurricane Helene. It was a perfect place for that! Quiet and tucked in off from main roads. Very peaceful!
