Island campsite in the center of town on beautiful Amelia Island. If you are into hiking, biking, beaching, boating, surfing and exploring, this is a great base camp. Quiet neighborhood, close to town and the beaches. The lighthouse is in the neighborhood and a short walk. Walk or bike to historic downtown with many restaurants, bars and shopping. Come see us!Single RV/trailer plot nestled in the center of the island, approx 1 1/2 miles to the beautiful beaches of Amelia Island and a mile to the historic district of Fernandina (great for shopping, dinning, or simply watching the sunset). The camp site is in my side yard and was originally put in place for my travel trailer and now available to you to explore and enjoy all this island offers! The camp site is a single site with 30 amp service and water. There is no bathhouse or toilet so please be prepared. No tent camping please. Please keep in mind there is a slight slope in the yard and it is not a perfectly level surface. Most seasoned campers have no problem leveling the uneven terrain.
