Come get back to nature with camping at your comfort level and YES, we have A/C AND MINI HEATERS and a mini-fridge in all of our cabins. PLEASE note that there IS A PET FEE and AND WOOD FEE and it must be added when you complete booking (as Extras). Kayaks available for rent too! Whether you'd like a tent site (tents available) or a rustic cabin with lofts, we have what you're looking for. Get out of the city and get into nature. Just over an hour drive from Tampa or Orlando and you'll be laying in a hammock or making s'mores by the campfire. BUT REMEMBER, you are IN THE WOODS.. Bugs live in the woods and eliminating them all is never possible. Bring spray :) We spray weekly but there are all kinds of bugs around because you're camping! We even have Kayaks available for rent to head to Crystal River or Lake Henderson!

The Barn (Big Red)

Barn was quiet and peaceful

My Bestie and I needed a night to relax and unwind. This was perfect. Quiet and beautiful with a fire and a bottle of wine. If your looking for a resort, this is not it. It IS glamping. With that being said, we had everything we needed. Made burgers and pasta at night with eggs n bacon in am. You can easily bring a crockpot as well. Shower cold but adorable. We would definitely recommend this place as well as come here again. Thanks Amy:)

The Barn (Big Red)

Great place, horrible hosts

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Barn (Big Red). It was nice to get out into the fresh air and enjoy nature, and this was the perfect spot to do so. With my 15yo son tragically lost his mother recently, this was a perfect place for him to relax and breathe. Although our stay was beautiful, after we had checked out, the hosts Amy and Dan had accused us of breaking a frame of a window, that we clearly didn't do or would have done. They were quite rude on the way of even asking about the window, in actuality, they didn't ask just accused us and said" what the heck did you do to our window" . And once explaining that we had nothing to do with what was being accused, they threatened to call the police. Love they place, but will never stay ever again, because I nor my family will NEVER be accused and threatened by anyone. So if you are gonna stay at Amy and Dan's place, I would recommend a LOT of pictures before layout head down.

I loved the experience. Staying at the Barn was awesome. Cabin is so comfy and relaxing. Thank you Amy for your attention. My boy loved to camping there and eat snores.

The Barn (Big Red)

Awesome!

Big Red and the space around it were awesome! Rustic experience (which is what we were going for), with outdoor shower/toilet and private setting a bit off the road. Big Red was so cozy! Bed was comfy with lots of pillows and extra blankets provided and the A.C. unit worked great! Amy was very responsive and even had firewood waiting for us upon our arrival! Would definitely stay again and recommend Big Red! :)

The Beach House

We had a great time . Fire pit area was perfect . The outdoor shower was AMAZING after a long day paddling on river.
