Gray Rock Cove is a beautiful 9.46 acre slice of old natural Florida. There’s room to stretch out and plenty of wildlife to see (plus some Barn Kitties who are employed as rodent control). Mostly grassy land with some old growth oaks and saw palmettos, while the back/North third of the property is a beautiful undisturbed Florida Wetlands with a small floating dock to enjoy some of the pristine scenery from.
RV hookups (50a Power, water, sewer) along a gravel RV pad, while there's also plenty of room for tent camping instead.
A short drive to Mt. Dora, Eustis, Ocala, and The Villages. Easy access from the main road to reach the site. There's a 2-lane paved county road along the front of the property, with a dense greenery barrier blocking view of the road from most everywhere on the land.
There is a small bathroom building with toilet, sink, and shower. No standard outlet (110v) power access other than a few outlets in the bathroom and laundry (available for phone charging if needed, but nothing high-amperage). We do have numerous water spigots sprinkled throughout the property (unfiltered well water). There's a spot for a campfire near the bathroom building and the campsite. There will be a patio table set and chairs, two plastic Adirondack Chairs near the water along with an old Jon Boat with paddles you're welcome to take out to explore the water with. It's all pretty shallow, but mucky and plant filled like you'd expect a wetlands to be.Hidden Cove Campsite is a peaceful setting with ample shade trees around, a gravel parking lot entry, and a gravel vehicle/RV pad, plus plenty of flat grassy areas for vehicle and tent camping. As a bonus, it has a full bathroom with toilet, sink, and shower! Plus a washing machine (clothes-line drying).
If you don't have an RV, the RV parking can be used for vehicle parking as well. The campsite is 'designated' to a general area on the property with an RV parking pad and hookups, patio table, fire pit, and bathroom building....but if tent/vehicle camping instead of an RV, there are multiple options for where to physically place a tent or vehicle within this general area of the campsite.
There is a 50amp RV electrical hookup, water, and sewer available, bring adapters to hook your equipment up. There are a few outlets in the bathroom and laundry room, ok to use for phone charger or low draw devices (phone charging, compact refrigerator etc), but not set up to run higher draw devices (large refrigerators, ACs, etc) unless pulling from the RV 50a outlet.
Bathroom building, floating dock, campfire spot, and gravel area with patio table set all nearby. There is a downward facing dusk-to-dawn dim amber light on a pole near the bathroom building so it won't be pitch black during nighttime bathroom runs, but it doesn't spoil the darkness or night sky across the property.
We are occasionally on-site during daytime hours, but only in our work buildings near the entrance that shares gravel parking with the RV back-in space. We grow gourmet mushrooms indoors and fruit trees in our plant nursery outdoors, nothing wildly noisy or invasive to your peace and quiet. We'll only be coming and going from our working portion during the daytime, if at all, and letting you enjoy the peace and quiet of the property day and night. We live about 45 mins away while not there for work, so we won't ever stop by overnight.
