The farm you’re camping on is one of the last family farms remaining in Columbia County and is named Glenn Farm after DV Glenn who married Hettie Lou Niblack in the 1930’s. Over the last 150 years it has been farmed by some of the county’s oldest families such as the Niblack and Ellis families. When DV Glenn came to Florida from his farm in Cairo, GA he took over the portion of the Niblack farm that was inherited by his wife Hettie Lou. At that time he was running native Florida cattle on over 6000 acres. Unfortunately, In 1951 he was killed in a hunting accident leaving his wife with the farm and 4 children (ages 4-11). In order to survive, Hettie Lou Niblack Glenn was forced to sell 5000 acres at $25 an acre. Holding a bachelors degree from Florida State College for Women, she was able to secure a job at the University of Florida as a secretary and with the money from the land sale she was able to raise her four children. Of the original farm, 600 acres remain intact and the Glenn family is trying to keep the farm as an agricultural operation. Your campsite is 1 of 4 spots (Arrowhead Sink, Dunagan’s Meadow, North Hall Pasture or Magnolia Sink). We also have a 1 bedroom Tiny home that used to be the farm office. Dunagan’s meadow is a pasture behind the old farmhouse (built in 1824), Magnolia sink and The North Hall Pasture are also on the main farm while Arrowhead Sink is on the edge of a hayfield about a mile down a dirt road. Glenn Farm is a place to come relax and experience a world that is rapidly disappearing. It is not a commercial campground.

Arrowhead Sink
Really enjoyed camping here! The campsite was perfectly set up with a picnic table, trash can and fire pit. The campsite was in pristine condition even though the recent hurricanes had knocked down some trees in the woods behind it leaving plenty of wood to be found for a fire. Some of them fell in the path to the sinkhole entrance which made it a little more of an adventure to get there but still possible and Tom is already working hard to get them cleared as soon as possible. Met Tom as well as his mother Judy and they were very friendly people, communicated well beforehand and helped with any questions we had for our stay. Would highly recommend camping here if you’re in the area and we will be returning next time we are there as well!

Glenn Cottage at Dunagan’s Meadow
Tom's cottage was exactly what we were looking for! We wanted somewhere to glamp for a day between stays at campsites and they were super accommodating. I loved waking up to see sheep and donkeys, and the farm is close enough to High Springs that we got beers, pizza, and great pastries. Highly recommend!

I don’t know how often I have stayed here other than it always feels so peaceful when I go.

The Hall Pasture
Very secluded. Great if you want to off leash your dogs and not worry about other campers, cars, etc. Highly recommend and will likely be back!

Dunagan’s Meadow
What a welcoming stay. They were so nice and friendly, I even opted to extend my stay a second night for how beautiful it was. We sadly got rained out due to Milton. But I will come back and spend some time here asap. You have free access to explore all the fields and animals. My kids were so excited to see and pet all the cows and sheep. What a unique place! I could also see myself getting married on the grounds. Just beautiful.

Dunagan’s Meadow
We loved the land and animals. We were unable to meet Tom since he was out of town but his mother, Judy was extremely welcoming and showed us the ropes. We hope to be back in the future!
