This former timberland has been recently thinned but still retains enough pine and hardwood trees to provide a natural shade. Come camp under the stars and explore wild Florida, surrounded by palmettos and other native wildlife. You may see the occasional deer, turkey, or rabbit strolling though. Pack out what you pack in and help us keep this spot “all natural” for all guests. This site is deep into the forested area of our property, surrounded by natural Florida underbrush and shaded by pines and other hardwoods. Hike in only. Parking is 1/4 mi away and wagons are available upon request. There is a composting toilet set up with non-potable water for handwashing. No running water or electric—this is a primitive camping site.
