Welcome to a slice of nature on the edge of downtown Gainesville! This fully fenced, dog friendly full RV hook up campsite is located on a quiet dead-end road just minutes from all of your favorite downtown entertainment. You’ll be a short walk from First Magnitude Brewery, local restaurants, Depot Park and a stones throw from the Gainesville-Hawthorne Multiuse Trail. This location is great for cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts! You'll have access to two electric scooters during your stay. This single RV site offers privacy that is unmatched this close to UF campus. Go Gators! 🐊Downtown Nature Retreat Campsite is a relatively flat grassy space surrounded by mature trees. There is a creek on the south side of the property. You'll likely see deer, hawks, ducks and other wildlife during your stay. Guests will enjoy easy access to the rails to trails network to get downtown or out to state parklands.

Downtown Nature Retreat

Hotel was cancelled a week before our trip and most close places were booked due to large music festival. Thankfully we were only about an hour away and could drive our RV down. Great hosts, great location. We saw deer in the yard in the morning and less than a mile from a lot of downtown Gville. Thank-you for everything.

Super convenient and nice camping spot for anyone staying in Gainesville! Wonderful hosts! We camped overnight for a late UF game and had a great time.

Great location & AMAZING hosts! Responsive, friendly, & proactive with local recommendations. This is a wonderful piece of property in a nice area that’s peaceful & walkable to many things to do. The hookups were easy to use & worked perfectly!
