Cantering Hills Rest
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful and restful. Host was great, friendly and very helpful. Would love to have stayed longer, but had to get back home to check on home after Helena. All is well and many thanks for a lovely stay.

Cathy's farm is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. The gravel road in and out is easy to navigate, and the full hookups are a blessing. The only sounds you'll hear are the horses and chickens. :)

Worth the drive from I-10
This was just the stop we needed on our cross country drive. Catherine and her husband greeted us as we drove up, even after we arrived later than expected. They guided us over to our spot and showed us all our hookups. They even left their shop lights on so we didn't have to hook up in the dark! The next morning, we woke up to their beautiful farm with horses roaming around freely. Catherine met me down at the waters edge as I admired their lake. She was so lovely to chat with!
Overall both nights were the perfect fit for us. Quiet and scenic, with great amenities. Our personal TMobile internet worked just fine as we worked from our rig. If you ever have the chance to stay here, make sure you take the opportunity!

A GREAT place!!
We’re still new to HipCamping and this was a wonderful experience. Cathy was there to greet us, helped us set up, and made sure we knew where everything was. The directions were perfect, and we had no difficulty finding their place. The property is lovely and quiet. We would absolutely stay there again. I just wish I’d gotten to fish in their stocked pond. 😢

Nice Property, OK spots
This hip camp really grew on us!
The Upsides: First off, the hosts are wonderful. They are kind, helpful, and very communicative. We were in a spot away from the pond, but we appreciated the privacy and loved waking up to the horses and chickens every morning. Our spot had a great little fire pit as well.
The Downsides: Upon arrival, we were skeptical that we had to take our 43’ Class A off the beaten path through a horse pasture to get to our spot. Good thing it wasn’t muddy at the time. Our spot was pretty unlevel, but we made it work regardless. Upon driving in, there were also some low tree branches that we had to veer into the grass to avoid scraping the top of our rig. Be aware, that cell service isn’t the best if you need for work
Some Background: We are traveling to misc places & staying in each area for a couple weeks. We wanted to be around Pensacola, and this HipCamp was about a 30 min drive which was fine for us. This property is a regular small farm, so it’s not the most aesthetic, but that was totally okay for us. The only minor downside on the location was you had to drive past a paper plant that could be extra stinky some days (but it never seemed to smell at the property). There were two other active campers on the property the entire two weeks we stayed here. Everyone just minded their own and all was well. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but I am not sure if we would stay again solely for the fact that it was a challenge getting our rig in and out.
