Shiloh was the name of an early Florida town that was once located just down the road from our property. It was populated by hardy, adventurous folks who made a way for themselves and their families by clearing a spot along the river, building a home and forging a life in a new location. But Shiloh is now lost, literally removed from the maps. It no longer exists. When NASA needed a perimeter zone for the newly emerging space program in the 1950s, the federal government purchased large swaths of land between Oak Hill and Titusville, FL. Residents were bought out and forced to move. Houses were relocated or demolished. Shiloh disappeared into history while the space age pushed forward into the future. However... some foundations still can be found in the woods not far away, if you know where to look. There are even cemeteries that remain, whispering the names of individuals and families. As a tribute to those early adventurers, we have named our place Camp Shiloh. We honor the past, we respect the wild Florida that surrounds us, and we celebrate the future as we watch rocket launches from our porch. You are welcome to stay on the property while you explore the local communities of New Smyrna and Titusville, relax at beautiful Canaveral National Seashore, attend races in Daytona, visit amusement parks in Orlando... or whatever! It’s up to you. We are a peaceful, safe location from which you can stage your Florida adventure. Come on by. We look forward to hosting you! Beautiful space
Great place to stay. The lights helped so much setting up when arriving later in the evening. I loved hearing the different birds in the area at night & in the morning! Definitely need bug spray but it was a lovely spot for a quick stop while visiting the beaches nearby.

Camp Shiloh
Charming!
Utterly charming! Basic, but with essentials. Nice tree for shade. Couldn’t take advantage of the fire ring as it had been exceedingly dry in the area - no burn order in effect. But a perfect place to recharge after a day at the beach.

Camp Shiloh
Wasn't what I expected from the site. I did not stay nor did I see where one would check in or see anyone. Just gates and Stuff... Nothing to let you know where you were. A backwoods lodging.
