Awesome place! Cool, funky and super peaceful. Lynn and David are such kind and interesting folks. Love the dog(shout out to Winnie!) and the roosters. I will definitely go back if my travels take me that way again!

Flintstone Picnic Campground
Lynn and David were very kind and they made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We had a wheelchair and as long as the wheels are properly inflated, it was okay to get around. The property is very serene and peaceful, definitely a wonderful getaway that’s closer to Gainesville. We felt like we had escaped to a nice remote place that allowed us to rejuvenate.

Heartwarming Escape :)
We recently stayed at the Flintstone Picnic Campground and had an absolutely wonderful time. We were so pleased with our experience that we would definitely return. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible hospitality. The hosts were extremely accommodating and made everything so easy for us. They were always available and responsive to our needs, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The campground itself was perfect for our tent. The property is large and offers plenty of space to explore, which is encouraged by the hosts. It's a rustic and cozy place, making it ideal for families with children. The facilities were excellent. The toilet and shower were very clean, and although the shower is located outside, it added to the charm and didn't bother us at all. A special mention goes to the host, who was outstanding. The chickens on the property were a delightful highlight, and the fresh eggs were delicious. We were alone at the campground, the only guests that day, which made our stay even more special. The tranquility and serenity of having the entire place to ourselves allowed us to fully immerse in the beauty and peace of the surroundings. Overall, our stay was very uncomplicated and enjoyable. We would highly recommend Flintstone Picnic Campground and are looking forward to our next visit. It truly felt like a home away from home.
