Water, electric with beautiful trails in every direction! Bathroom running water, flush toilets. Everything was well maintained and clean.

Unique Experience!
Very private and charming! Joseph (host) was exceptional and was great to chat daily with! Be aware that there is only one restroom on site and it's unique (no light inside!). Also, the shower is outdoors with very little to no privacy (this was a bit challenging, requiring a DEEP breath to strip and shower without walls and folks walking past). I'd strongly suggest adding more shade panels to offer privacy. We got to see baby turkeys, deer, and even the resident alligator - Joseph can offer suggestions for best viewing times! All in all, the property is very unique and we're so glad we visited. Be flexible and openminded and you'll have an amazing time!

I loved that place, it’s very safe , calm and relaxing. If you think of visiting camp I highly recommend!!! It has everything for comfortable living!!!
And Joseph is very polite and very friendly. It’s a pleasure meeting you and appreciate you hospitality .

Serenity meets wildlife.
The camp sites were peaceful, and there was allot of wild life to watch, and listen for. We sat for a long time just enjoying the nature, from deer to owls, wild turkeys and babies . We walked the paths and saw cardinals and blue jays, squirrels. Joseph had swinging chairs and a large hammock that I napped on.

As a youngster going on 76 it has always been my dream to one day go on a tent camping trip and Joe's Area 61 could not have been a better first time choice.
Joe takes a lot of pride in his property and the results of his hard work definitely shows. The place is beautiful, peaceful, and quiet. My only regret was not staying longer.
