We love living on Anastasia Island. It is a small Island 2 miles wide by 15 miles long. It is walking distance to the beach, fishing pier and amphitheater. We have a small fishing lake in the back yard (unfenced). There is a national bird rookery preserve a few blocks away so the bird watching is wonderful. There is an alligator farm and a dolphin aquarium on the island., as well as a historic continuous working light house. Our pad is just across the Bridge of Lions (2 miles) from the Oldest USA city, St. Augustine, Fl. The historic Fountain of Youth is there along with many other attractions. We have two level paver RV Pads. They both have electric, black and grey water cleanout, fast high speed internet (full hookup). They each have private patios for picnics, socializing, and relaxing. Pad 1 accommodates an RV up to up to 28' in length. Pad 2 accommodates an RV up to 34' in length. Both sites have full RV hookups. We accept Class B, Class C, Small 5th Wheel, Pop-up Campers, Vans and Travel Trailers. Sorry, we can't take Class A and no tent camping is allowed. There is also a large back deck with picnic area overlooking the small fishing lake in the back yard. We enjoy meeting fellow travelers and sharing our paradise island. We are LGBTQ friendly. Our neighborhood is quiet and safe. The location has easy access to great adventures, history and wonderful memories may be made here. Pets are welcome on leash. accompanied by an adult, Each additional pet (over 1 pet) is $5. additional fee. There is an off leash park two blocks away. The beaches are also pet friendly. We adhere to CDC guidelines for safety. We wish you safe travels and happy trails.

Great stay

I loved camping with our camper at this site with Robert as the host. He was so kind and accommodating to our extra trailer and made our stay so comfortable. This site is in walking distance to great restaurants and also the beach! Thank you Robert!

Great Place to Stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Robert's hip camp. This is a suburban setting, in a quiet neighborhood, very close to Anastasia State Park. Since it is impossible to get reservations at the state park, this is a GREAT alternative. It is literally five minutes away so if you want to spend time in the park it's easy to do. It would also be a great place to stay if you are going to a concert at the amphitheatre. Thank you Robert! We will see you again!

We enjoyed this central location…. Close to lots of restaurants & sights.. The nearby French Bakery was a favorite! It was a quiet, level site - making for a good night’s sleep. They were very friendly hosts & took great care of us.

Our hosts were very accommodating and friendly during our recent visit. We hope to stay there again in the future, and experience what is available to see and experience on Anastasia Island and nearby St. Augustine . My wife and I enjoy walking and taking in the local views on our trips. We were delighted to be able to take advantage of the nearness of local historical attractions and restaurants by foot. The Atlantic coast was a 10-minute walk from our camp spot along with beach restaurants. The Lighthouse, which you can climb to the top and view the area and beaches was less than an hour walk. There is a bike rental shop less than a half mile away, whom will deliver and pick up to your location. America's oldest city is a less than ten-minute drive away. There is historical meaning to be found and experienced throughout the area. Sherri and Robert's little patch of oasis was a delight.

Sherri and Robert were so accommodating and great communicators. They let us check in a little early and were there to meet us. They made backing in and setting up a breeze! Robert was so nice and let us in on all the amenities the property had to offer. We enjoyed the location and the quick drive or 20 minute walk to the beach. It was much more private than the KOA we had just been at and the pad was very level!

Sherri and Robert’s place was as lovely as they are! Gorgeous landscaping in a quiet friendly neighborhood. I had to depart early due to incoming storm, but would return happily in the future.
