Tyne View Camping is a peaceful spot in Tyne and Wear, not far from Hedley on the Hill village. It's on a farm run by David and his family, who welcome guests to enjoy the beautiful countryside views. You can see the Tyne Valley from the camping pitches, which is great for stargazing at night. The site is basic with just water taps and toilets, no showers, but there's lots of space for kids and dogs to play. You're allowed to bring a barbecue or firepit for cooking, and you can buy supplies in Prudhoe nearby. Or, you can walk to Hedley on the Hill for a meal at a top-notch pub. There are plenty of things to do nearby, like walking in the woods, playing golf, or trying gliding. You can also visit Hadrian’s Wall, Newcastle upon Tyne, or explore the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty for a varied and enjoyable break.Also this June we will be open for the Sam Fender weekend ie June 12 til the 16th if anyone wants to camp £20 a night plus a taxi for £20The camping site has great views of the Tyne Valley, perfect for stargazing. It's basic, with water taps and toilets but no showers. There's lots of space for kids and dogs to play. You can bring a barbecue or firepit for cooking, and get supplies in Prudhoe, a 10-minute drive away. Or you can walk to Hedley on the Hill for dinner at a lovely pub.

We absolutely loved the campsite, Richard was so kind and helpful, would come back and recommend 100x over! Absolutely beautiful views too! Richard helped us with our bags down to the pitch, had anything we needed handy such as fire wood, charcoal, fire pit and even tent poles and pegs (no questions asked haha). Our first camping trip without family and Richard made sure we were all ok. Porto loos close by wherever you pitch up, and clean and always stocked with loo roll. Overall a great stay :) Thanks again Richard.

David and his brother were very friendly, so helpful and always around if needed. Toilets were clean and well maintained. Just a very good stay all round

Stunning views to enjoy

Exceptional camping site.The communication and directions to site were second to none. Davids site had stunning views and close to the stunning town of Corbridge and Hexham. Loads of spaces to pitch you could chose from and plenty portaloos and fresh water available. Both David and Richard came aroud the site to ensure we had everything we needed and we were comfortable. Definately be using this site again.

Lovely site. Thank you to David, Richard and Michael for the friendly and helpful service. The views are, as the name suggests, fantastic! Facilities working fine. Nearby pub is a great option for food and drinks. Would highly recommend!
