We absolutely loved our stay at the vacationist cabin, can't fault it one bit! It's such an amazing space, the cabin is exquisite and is nestled in a stunning location, Ruth & Guy have done a fantastic job with it.
We encountered all manner of wildlife during our stay, including buzzards, kestrels, dragonflies, rabbits and were incredibly lucky to have witnessed the baby blue tits fledging! (there's a bird box fixed to the cabin). The previous day we also sat on the deck and watched mamma blue tit flying back and forth to feed her babies - it was the best experience. Who needs phones when you have all of that entertainment, we barely touched them for the whole stay.
There's plenty of boardgames on offer, countryside to explore and wildflower meadows to gaze into and watch the wildlife. Bring a pair of binoculars! It's a great place to switch off and relax. The off-grid aspect really adds to the whole experience and we had no issues with power or water, etc.
The cabin was clean and tidy and we were provided with everything we needed for our stay, including the lovely welcome hamper which we opted for - a really nice touch. I could go on and on but you really need to visit and experience it for yourself. I would visit again in a heartbeat, thanks so much for having us!
