Holistic Woods WILD Campsite
A great site and extremely quiet (well it was when I visited).
It's as close to wild camping as you'll as the site though beautiful, just has portaloos & one cold water tap. The staff are friendly & polite and you're greeted on arrival. I thought the price of £19 per night was a bit steep. But that said, it's in its early days, so hopefully the money goes into better facilities. I doubt I'll be able to return this year. But I certainly will in 2025 😊

Back to basic woodland camping.
Second time here and same lovely wood pitch. Quite and great walks. Very peaceful and therapeutic.

Great little wild campsite
Great little nearly wild campsite if you want to camp out in the woods with the feel of pretty much wild camping. Loads of space both on grass and in the woods and you can pick your spot. The owners are very nice and laid back too. Great location for walking around the forest and I also did some great gravel rides directly from the campsite. Would recommend for those looking for a back to basics camping experience.

Awesome campsite! Gives you a proper wild camp feeling but with the safety and security of being on a campsite! Joanna’s a brilliant host very friendly and helpful!

Camp In The Woods
Real basic back to earth wild site more suited to tents than vans. There are a couple of porta loos on site and fresh running water but that's it. It is on the edge of common land separated by a low wire fence and there are permanent lived in caravans on the edge of the camp area.
We have a Renault Traffic which negotiated the paths well in the woods. It would have been reassuring if the host had visited site to put our minds at rest as it appeared we were the only visitors for the three nights we were there.
