COZY.
Welcome! After years of head-scratching, my mechanical/design/building challenge is buttoned up and highly chillable. Say hello to Bento. Offering a respectable 120 SF, this glamping getaway is perfect for a quick reset in nature.
You'll be hanging out in this charming off-grid box in your own private chunk of oak forest on a 14-acre farm. You've got windows for days, so enjoy the views while you finish that book. Sip a beverage of your choosing. Play cribbage, I won't be mad.COZY.

As an experienced host on multiple platforms, I take my listings seriously. I aim for them to be thoughtful, comfortable, and special. This is a brand new listing of a unique, challenging project on my rural wedding venue property. I'm going to start hosting in late April/early May. I've put an enormous amount of work into the Winnebago, and even more work into the rest of the property. I'm starting off slow, with limited availability for bookings at the moment. I'm looking for feedback from guests so that I can make improvements to the entire experience.
With that being said...
You'll be snoozing in a highly modified Winnebago Brave from the early 1970s. A restoration project gone completely off the rails, the camper was stripped down to the chassis and completely rebuilt from the cockpit back. The engine was tuned up to keep up with highway traffic, although we are very content in our current location. No, you can't drive the house.
Bento is an off-grid glamping getaway. While there is no electricity, plenty of solar lights keep you glowing in the dark. A propane heater can handle chilly nights and is safely vented directly outside.
A very comfortable queen bed gives you the space to spread out and relax. A custom-built couch on the opposite end is perfect for being drawn like one of Leo's french girls.
A camping stove will allow for making that coffee or tea in the morning. Hot toddies. Ramen. Go bananas.
Bring that stove outside and you can cook breakfast at the outdoor cooking setup. A campfire cooking grate and cast iron pans let you step it up a notch. Throw a fish in that pan. Live a little. *Please don't cook a fish in the Winnebago. No one wants that.*
An off-grid, composting outhouse is a short walk down a wiggly path. I promise it's the nicest outhouse you've ever had the pleasure of using. NOTE: This outhouse does require stairs to use. I'll be building a more accessible outhouse in the near future. {Also, outdoor shower coming soon}
Need a little morning walk through the woods? There are ~10 acres of forest to explore on the premises. Local state forests allow for longer, more challenging hikes. I can advise on several hiking areas and swimming holes.
You'll also have access to a map of my favorite spots in the area. My favorite townie bars, farm stands, coffee shops, greenhouses, swimming spots, scenic views, etc. You can easily have a fun afternoon after checking out in the morning.
