In the 1990's a ranchland section (640 Acres) was divided into 60+ acre small prairie farm properties.. Purchasing this pristine, untouched land in early 2000, we built our farm style home in 2004. Living where there are more hawks and pronghorn than people, this quiet prairie setting is a delightful home. WyndyRidge is aptly named for the almost constant breeze. For traveling estimates, our property is 1 hour from Parker, CO; 1 hour from Castle Rock, CO; 1 hour from Bennet, CO; 1 1/2 hour from many destinations in Colorado Springs, CO.

Great stay
Great place to layover heading east from Denver. Comnucatiln was good, directions were good. Water and electric worked well.

Relaxing
Very nice spot to camp. Stayed one night and had a great time relaxing watching the storm clouds roll by. Will definitely stay again.

Great communication with the owner. Very clear instructions for parking and directions to the site. Nice quiet area, large space. The road in can be sticky when wet and the site is a bit sloped so it can be tricky to level.

We felt pretty secluded, other than the busy host home about 300 ft away, it was just a few houses in the praire. A great view of the sky, although for a regular camping trip that isn't stargazing, I would reccomend a place with more seclusion, as is to say less private property surronding us. We didn't feel secure rambling on the praire, since there is small cactus that I would be fine with but my dog had issues. There were cyotees howling at night, great winds, clouds, and a little rain. I enjoyed my stay, but would likely not return.

Gorgeous morning views at Brenda's place! She was kind enough to keep her dogs away from our cat when we walked him. We also appreciated the wi-fi connection! Great place!
