Wide RV turn into and exiting campsite, 60x60ft camp easy parking. Tent camp. Large picnic table seats 8. Fire pit seats 7. Campers 60ft MAX should be able to pull in and setup with plenty of space.
Road is 130ft in length for parking and setup facing the North and Mt Blanca. 22mins from the Great Sand Dunes. 15mins from Smith Reservoir. No AMENITIES are provided please PACK IN PACK OUT camping. Please bring your own portable toilet or disposable bags.

Feel free to bring your RV/Camper and enjoy our spacious site. It serves as an ideal basecamp for 14er hiking adventures, only 20 mins from Lake Como Rd. Currently, it accommodates Campers/RVs and tents, operating as a "PACK IN PACK OUT large campsite." Parking is convenient, with space for one large RV/camper truck and two cars. While the road leading in might be a bit rough for about a quarter mile, it's manageable. We've personally cleared the main road for easier access.
Moreover, Smith Reservoir State Wildlife Area, offering great fishing, is just 15 mins away, with the town of Blanca and the main highway a mere 10 mins away. The Alamosa recreational center, providing hot showers and full gym access for $5 with a day pass, is approximately 30 mins from the campsite. The area boasts zero light pollution, making it perfect for stargazing with views stretching up to 100 miles. We're continuously improving the site, with plans for a custom fire pit, benches, and picnic tables, ensuring it remains a special place for all to enjoy.Welcome to our Family's Private Campsite, with views of three 14,000ft peaks right above your head. 25 mins from the Great Sand Dunes National Park and 15mins from Smith Reservoir State Wildlife Area. You are welcome to bring your RV/ Camper and enjoy our place. Also a great 14er hiking basecamp only 20min from Lake Como Rd before your climb for the day. For now its ready for those with Campers/ RV's and Tents. This is currently a "PACK IN PACK OUT large campsite".
You can park 1 large RV / camper Truck and two cars on the land with ease. 8th street is a little rough for about quarter mile but you can make it just fine. I personally cleared the main road leading east to the entry of the camp for easier access.
The Alamosa recreational center has hot showers and full gym access for only $5 for a day pass. The recreational center is about 30 min from our campsite with local restaurants/ Gas stations on the Main Street.
We leveled a huge area for our family's RV and camper. 45ft by 60ft max space in the center of the Camp for a huge RV and setup. I would say about 6,500 sqft of space to park and setup your camp. Campers 45 TO 50ft MAX should be able to pull in and setup with plenty of space. Road is 130ft in length for parking and setup facing the North and Mt Blanca. Made the roads 17ft wide leading in and out of our spot this should help with wide turns. Made very smooth bends in the road for easy entry and Exit.
Smith Reservoir State Wildlife Area is 15mins away for great fishing. 10 mins from the main highway and the town of Blanca.
Star gazing is some of the best in Colorado. Zero light pollution. Views for 100 miles no Joke.
We are working really hard to get a custom fire pit installed, benches around the fire pit and picnic tables for seating very soon. Feel free to rent the area until we get all this installed this late summer 2023. Come back soon for updates to the camping pad. We plan to keep improving this campsite and making it a special place for all to enjoy.
