Rain Crow Farm is a small, organic farm located in the pristine North Fork Valley on Colorado’s Western Slope. The campsites here are right along the river, surrounded by tall cottonwoods and stunning Mountain View’s. There is a shallow swimming hole and plenty of riverbank hangout spots. The farm is walking distance from Paonia. Campers who stay with us with have access to produce from the farm, including eggs, goat milk, and loads of fresh salad greens. Wake up to sound of birds and rivers’ flow. Because of our diverse livestock, we generally do not allow dogs. The camp sites are tucked deep within our farm, so we kindly ask that all campers arrive in the daylight in order to get situated. Thank you!Pitch your tent under the trees by the river and enjoy a quiet, secluded oasis. Campsites are a one-minute walk from the main house and parking area. Small RV camping is also available, but the location is less secluded and shady. Wi-Fi is available near the mainhouse for guests. Outdoor shower available upon request. There is NO toilet available, but there is an outhouse. This is a homestead farm with goats, chickens, dogs, cats, and rabbits, as well as organic produce and fruits. Please come prepared to depend yourself against mosquitoes, which can be thick at times. Spray or netting is sufficient.

Lovely farm stay!!
Absolutely loved camping here, we felt incredibly welcomed by all members of the farm. Nice outhouse and private camping area with river access, and loved spending time with the animals. Skye is incredibly welcoming and generous and would absolutely love to come back and camp here again <3

Great camping experience.
We loved camping at Skye’s farm for 3 nights. The quiet, vast area was level for our small teardrop camper. The views of the West Elk Mountains were incredible, especially watching the goats graze in the field. Skye was so welcoming and gracious and available. Her friendly turkeys followed me around as I picked apples from the trees, a beautiful bonus. We will be back!

I loved tent camping on Skye’s land! The land is beautiful and easily accessible! Skye was super attentive, and we felt very welcomed. The campsite was cozy and had everything we needed! All of the animals were a bonus. I’d recommend camping here :)

A great paoina homestead!
A great place for our paoina homestead camp for a long weekend. Extremely coinvent to bike into town and a great low key natural setting to enjoy a true homestead . so appreciative to have the opportunity to visit, wish we could have stayed longer on this trip!

Skye was very welcoming! She had a lovely family, a beautiful property by the river and a rambunctious turkey. Would definitely stay there again in the future!

While the location itself I thought was beautiful the campsites had much to be desired it was really just a spot in the trail among some fairly overgrown trees. However we did get there really late in the night and had to setup in the rainy dark so it was a little bit our fault. The camp host was very polite despite our late arrival and the dogs were very friendly and cute but if you are trying to tent camp it is not the most desirable spot.
